Episode 2 - Tentacruel Attack

     Last time, Amber left Cinnibar Island. She saw a strange Pokèmon fly from the Cinnibar Labs as well. Now, she is on her way to New Bark Town.

     Amber looked off the boat into the water. Suddenly the motor on the boat stopped. The boat came to a jerking stop. Amber fell over when the boat stopped. She rubbed her head as she got up. Many passengers were running around screaming. Amber then saw a reddish glow in the ocean.

     "What...the..." Amber looked over the railing on the boat. There were Tentacruel in the ocean. The boat must have gone into theit territory. Then she saw everyone surrounding an area of the boat. She walked over and asked what was going on. The trainer pointed into the water. Amber saw a girl surrounded by Tentacruel.

     "Go Totodile!" the girl sent out a Pokèmon. Her Totodile blasted two Tentacruel away. The other three Tentacruel wrapped Waninoko. The pulled the girl under water. Many other trainers watched. The captain of the ship looked over the railing. He saw another person jump in.

     Amber was the other person, she swan to the area and dove underwater. Amber sent out Poliwag. She told Poliwag to save the girl's Waninoko. Amber then swam back up to get air then dove back down. "Someone, get a lifesaver!" the captain yelled. A little boy walked over and handed the captain a piece of candy. The captain had a large sweat drop. Then, a shipmate threw over the real thing.

     Amber saw that Totodile was free, now she had the single Tentacruel to deal with. She told Poliwag to use an under water tackle attack. The Tentacruel let go of the girl. Amber told the girl's Totodile to bring it's owner up. Meanwhile, Amber grabbed onto Poliwag and they same to the surface.

     "Hey, you alright?" Amber asked. The girl coughed up water and shook her wet hair.

     "Totodile, you alright?" the girl asked. Totodile nodded its head. "Alright...we're fine, thanks..."

     "The name's Whitney, I'm the gym leader of Golden Rod City." the girl said. Amber gaped her mouth open. She pointed at Whitney. "Oh, yea, this is my little sister's Pokèmon, I'm no water type trainer you know..."

     "You...you...you're the gym leader???" Amber said. Whitney got up and called back her Totodile.

     "Yes...but, please keep it on low profile, I don't want other's to know..." Whitney combed her hair and used a towel to dry it. SHe put it up into two ponytails to show Amber she was the real gym leader. "You see? It's really me...hey, you're a pretty good trainer, how many badges you've got?"

     Amber quickly got up. "Uhm, I, I'm not even in a league yet, I'm not registered yet either...my friend is doing that for me. He's in New Bark Town now. The ship stopped at a dock a few hours later. Whitney bid farewell to Amber and rode her bike away. Amber walked along a path until she came to a large building.
