I own none of the characters in this fanfic. Pokemon and its characters are owned
in some way by Nintendo, Game Freak, Creatures, and 4Kids Entertainment.
This is based on the Hanna-Barbera special that appeared on ABC in 1971,
"A Christmas Story", not the movie of the same name.

Narrator: Ah, snow has fallen over the peaceful town of Pallet, and our hero and
heroine are enjoying the weather in all its beauty.
(Inside Ash's House. Ash and Misty are looking outside the attic window...
well, at least Misty is...)
Misty: I wish I got this kind of weather in Cerulean. Isn't it beautiful?
Ash: (Half sleepy) Yeah, sure is.
Misty: The way that it just covers the ground and the trees... it's so lovely.
(Puts an arm around Ash) You like it Ash?
Ash: (snoring)
Misty: Ash?
Ash: (snores louder)
Misty: (yelling) WAKE UP YOU LAZY EXCUSE FOR A POKEMON TRAINER!
Ash: (yawning) Huh? What?
Misty: (sighs) Never Mind. (Thinks for a moment, and smiles devilishly) Hey,
Ash, can you came downstairs with me for a second?
Ash: (still yawning) Uh, sure, okay Misty.
(Misty leads Ash down two flights of stairs, then opens the door to outside)
Ash: Hey Misty, why are we out here?
Misty: (still smiling devilishly) You'll know....
(Misty scoops up some snow from off the ground, rolls it into a ball, and
hurls it at Ash.)
Ash: HEY!
Misty: (Laughing manically) Wake up call, Ashy-boy!
Ash: (Dumbfounded) Why you little.....
(Misty continues laughing until Ash thrashes her with a snowball of his own.)
Misty: How dare you throw a snowball at an ice queen!
Ash: Yeah, whatever. (Throws another snowball at Misty)
Misty: Grrr.....
Ash: Aww, Misty. You look good with snow all over you.
Misty: Oh yeah...
(Misty tackles Ash into a snow plow behind him)
Misty: I think you look even better.
Ash: Very funny.
(They continue to fight in the snow until Mrs. Ketchum suddenly steps outside.)
Mrs. Ketchum: (grinning) Oh, how cute! I see that Misty's helping you to plow
the snow. That's nice of you.
(Misty and Ash get snowflake drops)
Authors Note: I'm just using snowflake drops instead of sweatdrops because they're
seasonal.
One hour later....
Misty: This is all your fault, Ash. If you wouldn't have started that snowball
fight, we wouldn't have to do all this!
Ash: Yeah, right. You're the one who tackled me in to that slow plow! We wouldn't
be in this mess if it weren't for you!
Misty: Whatever.
Ash: Back at ya.
(They finish up and head inside to where Mrs. Ketchum awaits)
Mrs. Ketchum: I would give you your allowance now, but since buying the holiday
food is going to take all of the money that I have on me right now, I'll pay both
as soon as I go back to the bank. Besides, what can you do with it on Christmas
Eve anyway? (giggles)
Misty & Ash: Yeah, of course.
Mrs. Ketchum: I'm so glad that you've decided to invite some of your friends from
your journey.
Ash: Yeah. It's great having your friends to spend the holidays with you. I
wish that I could invite Brock, but he's spending time with Suzie back at his
home with his family.
Misty: Well, you got me. Am I not good enough company for ya?
Ash: (stuttering) Well, uh yeah.
Misty: Just kidding with you, Ash! Besides, we're best friends, right?
Ash: Yeah. I'm glad you feel that way. I'm glad you decided to come back to
Pallet with me.
Misty: (Sarcastically) Oh, I just wanted to see your mother.
(Ash pulls Misty's hair)
Misty: Ow! Just Kidding! Thanks for letting me stay here.
Ash: (hugging Misty) Anytime, Misty.
Mrs. Ketchum: So what time will your friends be here, Ash?
Ash: Later tonight. We plan on having a back yard snowball fight then party
down in the basement, then come back up and eat dinner.
Mrs. Ketchum: That's nice. Well, I must be going to get the groceries, so
I won't be back for a while. Take care of the house while I'm gone, okay?
Ash: Sure, mom. I'll make sure Misty doesn't break anything!
(Misty elbows Ash)
Misty: Be careful out there, Mrs. Ketchum.
Mrs. Ketchum: Thanks for your concern, but I'll be just fine. See ya!
(Mrs. Ketchum leaves the door and closes it behind her.)
Ash: Well, since Mom is gone, I'll gonna take a nap.
Misty: A nap? But you've just waken up!
Ash: So what? I wanna have enough energy for tonight's party.
Misty: Good point. Well, I'm going upstairs to take a nap as well.
(Misty climbs up the stairs, leaving Ash alone in the living room. This
gives Ash a chance to look around the living room and observe how
greatly garnished it is.)
Ash: (to himself) This is gonna be such a cool Christmas! Misty's here,
my friends will be soon, and we're gonna have a heck of a lot of fun tonight!
The stockings are hung, the tree is decorated, Pikachu's wish list on the
floor....
(Ash suddenly jumps up from the sofa)
Ash: PIKACHU'S WISH LIST!? I must not have mailed it! I gotta get it to the
Post Office fast!
(Without saying goodbye to Misty, Ash gets on his coat, boots, and gloves, and
bolts out the the Ketchum Home)
Narrator: With not much time to spare, Ash searches for the post office. Will
he make it in time? Find out in the next installment of:
"A Pokemon Christmas Story"!

Sorry if this is kind of short; the next part will be out shortly after this one.
Due to my studies, I could not complete part 3 of "Ash & Misty's House Party"
but after exams and this fic, I'll be working on it and my Joint Fic,
"Pokemon Tag Tournament" with Chris H.
Well, that's all for now... Feedback (positive or negative) is greatly
appreciated!
