Our heroes continue on their journey to Goldenrod City and find a Pokemon 
Center on their way (as always). “Hey, lets stop here for a while” said Ash, 
“Yeah, my legs are killin’ me” said Misty, “Nurse Joy….” Said Brock. Ash and 
Misty sighed and dragged him in. 

 

Scene 1: An Awkward Moment-

“Hey Misty, there’s Nurse Joy.” Said Ash with a sigh. “Oh no” sighed Misty. 
“Nurse Joy” said Brock in his lovesick voice. “Ya know, this Nurse Joy looks a 
little different” said Misty. “She’s even sexier than the others” said Brock. 
Ash and Misty sighed. “Nurse Joy, do have any rooms?” inquired Ash. “Well kids, 
I’m sorry but there’s only one room left.” Replied Nurse Joy. “That’s alright” 
said Misty. “Well, uh, it’s the honeymoon sweet.” Said Nurse Joy. “What, there’s 
a honeymoon sweet in the Pokemon center?” said Misty in total shock. “Yes, well 
nowadays, people who are married also go on Pokemon Journeys.” Replied Nurse 
Joy. “Why don’t you and I spend the night there?” said Brock. “Shut up Brock” 
screamed Misty. “But kids there’s only one bed there” “Aww man, our sleeping 
bags are totally trashed with that whole Scyther and the jump in the mud to save 
your life incident” said Ash in a cranky tone. “Nurse Joy, why don’t I come with 
you in your room to spend the night?” Said Brock. “Brock…” said Misty getting 
annoyed. “No Misty, that would be great” replied Nurse Joy. “What???” said Ash 
and Misty. “Ya what?” said Brock. “I’m the only one of my sisters who’s single.” 
Replied Nurse Joy. “Really, I really get to spend the night with you?” 
questioned Brock. “Yes, unless you don’t want to” said Nurse Joy. “Oh no, I want 
to” said Brock. “Okay, back to us, where do we sleep?” Asked Ash and Misty. 
“You’ll are sleeping in the honeymoon sweet” said Brock angrily. “What?” said 
A/M. “Scram ya little munchkins” said Brock in demonic tone. Ash and Misty were 
terrified. “Maybe we should just go.” Said Misty. Ash and Misty ran as fast as 
they could away from Brock after taking the keys from Nurse Joy. “Oh man, I 
never thought I’d see the day that a girl wanted Brock, I didn’t think it was 
possible” said Ash, “She’s desperate Ash, she’s the only one in her family who’s 
single” said Misty, “Hey Misty isn’t that your case?” “Hey, don’t rub it in, but 
yeah, ah… who cares” replied Misty, “Well, you should” “Why are you so 
concerned?” “I’m not, I’m just curious, that’s all” While their conversation 
continued Ash and Misty reached their room and go inside. “Well, who should 
sleep on the floor?” asked Ash “Well, you should” “What, why me?” “ Because I’m 
a girl” “So? The floor is really, really cold and the bed’s too small to fit the 
both of us.” ‘Okay here’s a chance, I’m taking it’ thought Misty. “So do want to 
sleep on the bed?” “With you?” “No, I wouldn’t give you the pleasure Ash 
Ketchum” “Hey, I’m not interested in girls” “Good, because I’m not interested in 
you” “Like I am” “Pipikachu pika pi? (What about the bed situation?)” “Okay, I’m 
sleeping on it, you do what ever the hell you want” said Ash “Uh, well I’m 
sleeping on it too” “Pi pi pi? (Where do I sleep?)” “On the desk” replied Ash. 
Ash had fallen asleep really fast, but Misty was just thinking, ‘ Wow, I’m with 
him in bed, if only he were interested in something other than Pokemon, he will 
be soon, I just hope that I’ll be around when he is’ Misty turned to the other 
side and looked at Ash. ‘I don’t know why I’m so attracted to him, he’s just so 
irresistible to me, and doesn’t he feel a thing, I think I should just give up, 
I mean its not like he cares, and I don’t show him that I care either. Hey, 
that’s it, I’ll be nice to him, maybe he’ll start feeling something, but its 
gonna be weird with Brock around’. The next day, Misty tries to be good to Ash 
without giving Brock a clue. “Hey Brock, how many days has it been since we’ve 
been on the road to Goldenrod?” asked Ash. “ How am I supposed to know?” Replied 
Brock. “Well, don’t you guys think we should keep going?” said Misty, “Yeah, 
I’ll never give up” said Ash as he went into a heroic pose. “That’s the Ash that 
we all know and love” said Misty. And so they continued their Journey. ‘ Okay, 
that was a step, but I can’t go any further with Brock around. If he weren’t 
here, I would be able to flirt a little with Ash.’ Thought Misty.
