A/N- this fic is about Jesse. Part 1b will be about James.

" Oh Erik, I promise I will never leave you again..." A girl with bright red hair says, in the arms of a handsome boy named Erik.

" Neither will I Annie, neither will I..." Erik says, about to kiss her.

" CUT!!!" A director yells. The red headed girl looks up to the director in annoyance.

" Now what Steve?" She asks.

" Jesse, try to show some compassion with this. You make it look like poor Mike here is your brother or something." Steve says. " And Mike, good job."

" You know, I’m sorry Steve. I can’t seem to get the hang of this. I don’t truly love anybody as much as the movie we’re producing says my part should be. I can’t act it, Steve." Jesse says. Steve sighs.

" Ok. I’ll just have your double do the part... Rachel!" Steve calls. A girl with bright red hair, almost identical to Jesse walks in the set.

" Yes?" Rachel asks quietly.

" Jesse here can’t seem to get her act together in this part. I want you to act as Annie in this part." Steve says. Rachel gets hearts in her eyes.

" Yes sir! I’ll go get changed for the part." Rachel says, and rushes off into the dressing room. Steve looks at Jesse.

" Jesse, after we are done with this scene, we’ll be having a month-long break. You may leave early if you’d like."

" Thank you Steve." Jesse says with a bow.

" Good girl. I’ll expect to see you back here on June 4."

" Ok, goodbye Steve." Jesse says with a wave, and goes outside to call her butler so she can get a ride home. In minutes Aaron, her butler, arrives at the set. Jesse gets in the beautiful black limousine, and smiles at Aaron.

" Hey, how’d set go?" Aaron asks.

" Good. I still couldn’t get the part after Mike rescues me, so they are letting Rachel do it. At least SHE seems to be madly in love with him." Jesse says with a cute grin.

" Well, come on, let’s go home." Aaron says. He pulls out of the set, and they start their drive to Jesse’s Malibu mansion. Jesse was really quiet, until Aaron brought up something.

" Hey Jess, why do you have such a problem with love scenes?" Aaron asks.

" I don’t know why." Jesse says.

" It doesn’t have anything to do with James now, is it?" Aaron asks. Jesse frowns.

" It’s sure been a while since I have seen James." Jesse says, forcing a smile.

" But you still miss him. What is up with that?" Aaron asks.

" Nothing is up with that. I haven’t seen him for 7 years, and I don’t think that we’ll ever see each other again." Jesse says.

" Oh, come on now, don’t worry about it. If you two are meant to be, you’ll see him again." Aaron says.

" Oh come on, I doubt he remembers me." Jesse says. Aaron shakes his head.

" Sometimes I think you should just give life a chance." Aaron says. Jesse looks out the window.

" Maybe..."
