Last time...
"I told you just to leave me alone, Ketchum. I TOLD you. What do you
want with a snob, anyways?" "Misty, you're more miserable than I
expected."
PART 3
"So what do you want here?" I asked. I put my hand on my hips,
glaring at him. "I want to help you," he said. "I DON'T NEED HELP! LEAVE
ME ALONE!" I screamed, even though I knew that it wasn't true. I did
need help. I threw a brush at him. "Will you stop hitting me with
things?" I blushed. "Sorry." "Do you want my help or not?" "I guess."
"Don't you have a boyfriend?" he asked. "All this time, I expected
you to be going out with some hot guy from the bigscreen." I shook my
head. "I started out with commercials and back then, I dated Gary." Ash
cringed. "And then I made it to the bigscreen and I told him I was too
good for him and I walked away." "Harsh..." he muttered.
Ash took a towel to my face. "The first thing you need to do is
wipe off all that goop." I looked at my reflection. there was the girl,
the one that had traveling with Ash and Brock, only I was in fancy
clothes. "I need to put on something more casual, don't I?'' I asked. He
nodded. I stepped into my huge wardrobe, looking back to make sure Ash
wasn't looking. I locked the doors. I put on the most casual outfit in
there. That would be black jean shorts and a light blue halter, similar
to the one I had worn during traveling. My shoes? Light blue glittery
tennis shoes.
I walked out. Ash began to gape. "Misty...you look like a regular
person." I touched my permed hair. "Should I go to the salon and
straighten it?" I asked, amazed how much I looked like my childhood
self. Ash shook his head. "That won't be necessary." He led me out the
door. "Where are we going?" I asked. "To do regular person things."
Jeeves, the butler, walked through the hall. Then he saw Ash running
down the hall, me running to keep after him. "Madam! What in the world
are you doing?" But I didn't listen. I ran down the spiral staircase, a
familiar feeling following me. I remembered always running after Ash
during traveling. I gained speed. I ran to catch up with him and there,
we stood outside the door. Free at last.
