The Pokemon Hot Spring Adventure! Ash and Misty’s Greatest Battles of their Love!!!
By: Shadow Pikachu and Shadow Squirtle
(Epilogue)
(3 months later)
It seemed like forever before the doctors released him. He was healing just fine but they never let him out. But then again, neither did Misty. She was so worried that she did almost everything. Including all the nurse work. Ash thought that if they could, they’d would of asked her to work for them. Little did they know (or Ash know until she told him) that Misty was already a great doctor in Kanto. So when he was finally free to go, he raced over to the Waterflower home in Kanto to ask something of her father.
“What do you want, Ketchum?” Mr. Waterflower questioned.
“I wanted to ask for Misty’s hand in marriage,” Ash said bluntly.
Mr. Waterflower looked at the boy. No, at the young man. He could still see some of the scarring from saving his daughter’s life. He smiled and decided to allow it. But there was still something that bugged him.
“Why my youngest?” he asked.
“Excuse me?” Ash questioned, confused.
“Now don’t think little of me but answer truthfully. Misty is nowhere near as beautiful as the other three. Nor is her voice. She is as they call her the runt of the family. So why her? Is it money?” he probed.
He heard Ash chuckle, “You think that I’m after money?”
Ash stood up and summoned him to follow. He did. They walked for what seemed like days (and it was ^_^) till they reached a clearing. It had a giant boulder over looking a moderately fast flowing river. Mr. Waterflower could hear a waterfall not far from where they were.
“So why did you bring me here?” he demanded.
Ash smiled and stared at the river.
“This is where I first met your daughter. You see, I had angered a flock of Spearow. I jumped into the river to protect Pikachu and myself. I thought that we were a goner when your daughter literally fished me out of the river. And do you want to know what I thought about her the second that I saw her?” Ash said.
Mr. Waterflower nodded.
“I thought that she was the most beautiful creature I had ever seen. My parents shone me the world but nothing I had ever seen could ever compare to her. Then I heard her voice. I thought that she was an angel sent to save me. And in a way, she did. But that’s not why I love her,” Ash explained, “When we first started to travel with one another, I’ll admit I really didn’t like how she treated me. I think that we both really didn’t like each other at first. We both got on each other’s nerves. Our personalities clashed. Like water and electricity. They aren’t good together. Anyways, but something happened six months into our journey. It happened at maiden’s peak. When I saw how beautiful she could be. It was amazing. That’s when I realized that I started to really like her. And as the time past and as I learned more and more about her, I soon fell completely and impossibly in love with her. But…You still question why I chose her, right?”
“I wasn’t going to say tha-”
“But you thought it. This is the reason that I chose her. She’s beautiful, intelligent, kind, caring, thinks of others before herself, loves pokemon, short tempered, dominant personality, anger issues, and most of all… she’s Misty. That’s why I love her.”
Mr. Waterflower finally understood.
“Well, we better get back to Cerulean if you want to catch Misty before she sets out after you.” he paused, “Don’t you have something that you want to ask her?”
He watched as the joy and excitement spread onto Ash’s face. He smiled.
“Yes sir!” Ash agreed.
(at Cerulean)
Misty paced the floor of her bedroom. Ash had left with her father four days ago. Where were they? Did her father hurt him?! If he did, so help h-
“Knock, knock!” a familiar voice sounded.
Misty flung the door open and there stood Ash, flowers and all. He bowed and walked in.
“‘Bout time you returned!” Misty snapped, hitting him upside the head.
“Sorry about that, Mist. But I really need to ask you something.” Ash said, starting to get on his knee.
(In the kitchen)
“So Delia, you think that your son will be able to pop the question soon?” Mrs. Waterflower asked.
Delia opened her mouth to answer when they heard a high pitched squeal and a THUD!!
“Guess that answers our question,” the mothers responded.
Daisy, Lily, and Violet ran into the kitchen.
“Ash just like proposed to misty!” Violet exclaimed.
“And Misty totally said yes!” Lily added.
“Tell us something new,” the mothers teased.
“And daddy has his like shotgun out.” Daisy finished.
“WHAT?!” the older women shouted.
“Daddy? What’s that for?” the heard Misty ask.
They heard something scurry around, a door slam, and saw Ash running, hair worst than what it was before and only half his jacket on, out the front door. Then they saw Mr. Waterflower rush to the door and chase after Ash.
“Daddy! You promised not to hurt him!” Misty cried, following the boys.
“This is going to be one bumping ride,” Delia sighed.
SPLASH!!!!!
“Don’t tell me,” Mrs. Waterflower sighed.
“Yep,” Lily and Violet stated.
“Daddy’s cornered him in our new mini hot spring Jacuzzi thing,” Daisy sighed.
“You have a hot spring?” Delia asked.
“Well, an imitation one. The girls where spending to much going to the real things.” Mrs. Waterflower replied, “Might as well and go help him.”
“Your right. We don’t want another hot spring incident,” Delia laughed.
