On the Line
Ok this is my first fic so don't be too harsh! I was watching in the line when I thought of this and I like fics with songs in them so if you don't then turn back now!!. O and im not giving misty or ash a specific age or how they look or anything cuz some people like how I want them to look and some people don't so ill let you use your imagination ^-^

Note - I don't own pokemon blah blah blah blah or the song on the line blah blah you kno the deal.


She couldn't take it anymore. All the fighting, the arguments. She knew he didn't feel the same way about her that she felt about him. So what was the point of sticking around?

Misty slowly gathered her things taking one last glance at her surroundings. She looked to her right and saw Brock sleeping, mumbling something to himself, probably a about some girl he was dreaming about. She looked at the once brightly burning camp fire which was now a pile of ash. Ash. He was next to her too. Sleeping like a baby with his faithful companion Pikachu. She was really gonna do it, she was really going to leave. She couldn't bear to be around Ash anymore, she loved him so much, so much that it hurt. She finished packing her bag and carefully picked up her sleeping Togepi. It stirred
A bit and yawned, not quit processing what its mommy was doing. Misty just smiled at her baby. She reached into her pocket and pulled out and airplane ticket for a flight leaving at 7:00. She looked at her watch. It was about 6:00. She knew Ash was a deep sleeper, as well as a person who doesn't like to get up early. That's why she got the earliest flight she could. She reached into her pocket once more, this time pulling out a note. She read it to herself to make sure it was perfect.

Dear Ash,
I decided to leave the group. I can't stand our fighting and I love you so much that watching you fight with me every day, and me fighting right back just tears me to pieces. I've decided to catch the 7:00 flight to the place where I really belong. I don't want to tell you where because I know you'll come after me just because you feel bad. Don't. Maybe well meet again someday.

Misty placed the piece of paper next to Ash's head and said her last goodbyes. She turned her back toward them and slowly started making her way towards the air port, a few tears shedding as she walked.

Ash suddenly sat up in his sleeping bag. A cold sweet perspiring on his forehead. He just had the worst dream. Misty was taken away from him by some strange shadow…thing. Slowly his breathing started to settle and he started to calm down. That is until he decided to take a quick glance at misty of course. He turned expecting to see her beautiful face sleeping beside him but there was nothing. No bag, no clothes, no mummy sleeping bag and no Togepi. "Misty?" he quietly mumbled to himself. What was going on here? He then noticed a small piece of paper next to his sleeping bag. Curiosity got the best of him and he picked it up and read it. His eyes moved back and forth as he read the neat hand writing not wanting to believe what was happening, not wanting to believe that his true love left him. But it was true. He curled up in a ball and quietly shed some tears. Why? Why did she leave me? I can't believe her letter said she loved me! ARGH!! I'm so stupid, if I could have been a little nicer to her and not fought so much she'd still be-

His thoughts were interrupted by a small yellow mouse tapping him on the shoulder. He didn't answer. Just as Pikachu was getting ready to give him a thunderbolt and tell him what's wrong he too noticed the note. He read it and his eyes went wide and saddened as he looked at his trainer for he knew how he felt about her.

"Pi Pikachu!" ( Ash listen to me! )

"….." Still no response

       " Pi chu pikachu PIKA!! Chu Pikachu pi pika! Pi Pikachu! Pi-chu pika chu chu!!" ( Ash stop crying NOW! You have to go out and find her! You have to bring Misty back!! You can let her get away!! )

       " Wha……what do you mean?" Ash asked finaly responding. " She…..*sigh* she's gone Pikachu."

       " Pi chu ka ka!! Pi pika! ( no shes not gone!! Its only 6:15!! )

       " Then that means………" Ash suddenly sat up, his fist closed and a serious look on his face. "Come on Pikachu. Were going to the airport." Ash said determined.

Ash put on his jacket gloves and hat. He flung his back-pack over his shoulder and ran out of camp towards the road, Pikachu close behind.

Another dead end street
Another love gone wrong
Another shattered dream
Always the same old song
I started thinking that
You'd never come along


He waved a cab down and quickly hopped in telling the driver to go to the air port FAST. The cab quickly drove out of site and into town. The traffic in town was backed up like NY and Ash was getting antsy. He looked at his watch not having time for this he hopped out of the cab and ran towards to side walk. Hell make it to the airport on foot.

Misty is looking at the airport doors. She takes a deep breath and heads inside. She quickly pulls out a little locket with a picture of her and Ash in it. She takes another deep breath and says this is it. Making her way towards the flight attendant with her ticket.

Ash is running through the street like a maniac pushing people out of the way and trying to get through the big crowds.

Misty just got her passport verified and is told her flight is leaving in gate B-14 she looks at the signs and started walking over to it. She sits down with Togepi on her lap and places her bag next to her waiting for her flight.

Ash finally made it to the airport in time and had to slide to a stop because he had so much speed going, making some papers and things fly up as he did it. He burst through the doors with a determined look on his face his eyes darting around looking for Misty

He runs and asked the flight attendant which flight if suppose to leave at 7:00 and gets a list of many of them. He runs form gate to gate searching for Misty and remembering all the times they had together.

Misty's flight finally arrives and all the passengers start to board as well as her and togepi

Ash finally finds the flight seeing Misty and Togepi to be the last ones going aboard. He quickly runs after them to catch up, too happy to see them to even call there names but is stopped by a security guard for he had no ticket to go on the plane. His mouth was covered and he was totally restrained from shouting to Misty and he sadly watched her board the flight.

Oh, oh
Yeah, yeah


The security guards finally let him go as they see the door close so no one else can enter the flight. He sits down sadly in one of the chairs looking at the floor not believing what just happened.

He looked up and saw Misty coming out of the plane to get her bag which she had accidentally left behind. He knew she hadn't seen him yet and he smiled to himself.

Misty turned around and found herself Face-to-Face with Ash barely an inch between them and a smug little grin on his face.

She NEW he'd chase after her. Probably just because he felt bad. She quickly started to move towards the plane when she felt him grab her arm and pull her back. And as he did he yanked her into a kiss.

She felt herself go limp in his embrace. The kiss was so sweet and tender how, could she resist. Togepi and Pikachu watched in delight and Pikachu had a small Polaroid camera in his hand. He was gonna make Christmas cards for every one witht this picture on top!

"Why'd you come back for me?" Misty asked. Ash just smiled and said "I Love you, and I wasn't going to let you get away" She smiled and hugged him resting her head on his shoulder.  They enjoyed each others company and new that they'd be together forever.
