Charlotte gazed into the mirror with a contemplative expression, watching as the surface began to swirl with fog. Moments later, it cleared, and she saw Lance and Red sitting on a park bench, eating ice cream sundaes together. Their auras were bright, though Lance’s was somewhat subdued and shot with black, Red’s sunshine yellow.

As she watched, Lance leaned over and ruffled her hair, as she beamed up at him and pursued her lips in a little pout. He kissed his Mate then, sparks flashing in his golden eyes.

She chuckled and cast her thoughts to another scene, before it became too personal. Now the mirror showed Fire Island. Moltres’s home, the volcano inhabited with many fire pokemon, the mother Ninetales leading her five kits home, and Moltres sleeping on a raised stone dais, and two Torkoal wrestling in the lava.

She spared a quick glance at Whirl Islands, seeing that all was well, before closing her eyes and standing.

It was nice to know that there was no danger on the horizon, and she went to make herself a cup of strong coffee. There was a romance novel she needed to finish…
