She leans over his shoulder, brushes a piece of hair out of the way, peers at the rudely hewn tablet. “It’s written in an old language. One of my ghosts might know.”
“Really?” Oak looks up at Agatha; surprised.
The Ghost Master snorts. “It’s worth a try.”
All her pokemon take a look, and Haunter has the answer. It looks like the archeology team has excavated some ancient pokemon prophecy, but the pokemon’s name – Arceus – is not familiar. The idea of a pokemon taking control over all the others is rather frightening.
All that control…
Samuel looks positively delighted, and Agatha winces. He’s got another harebrained idea.
“Agatha! Our knowledge of pokemon is too limited! We must build an encyclopedia!”
“What?”
“Yes! I’ll call it…” He strokes his chin. “The pokedex!”
She resists the urge to smack him. It must be the desert heat getting to her husband. Honestly!
She kisses him instead, and the rest of the team laughs and passes out juice.
