Warnings: Misty has a crush

She wanted to sink into the floor. She couldn’t believe it. Her idol had stopped giving autographs, but was still answering questions from the crowd and she was next in line! Her heart thudded in her chest and she swallowed uncomfortably, trying to ease the dryness in her mouth.

The chubby blonde in front of her moved aside. Misty almost swooned as Lorelei smiled at her, adjusting her glasses.

“Hello, what’s your name?”

“I-I’m M-Misty!” She managed. “Um, this is for you!”

She thrust a clumsily-wrapped package in raindrop-patterned wrapping paper at the Ice Master, ready to flee.

“Why, it’s adorable!” Lorelei smiled as she saw the Psyduck doll. She reached over and patted Misty’s head. “Thank you very much.”

“You’re welcome!” Misty bobbed her head up and down rapidly.

To her surprise, Lorelei got up from the table and gave her a big hug. ‘Thank you, Misty. I love stuffed dolls.”

Misty returned the hug, before Lorelei stepped away. “Next?”

She floated in a daze for the rest of the day.
