“I’ll lend you my Gyarados.” She offered with a smile. “Then you’ll be able to Surf.”

Red blushed slightly. “You really would do this, Misty? Thanks!”

She had already saved him from the wild Dragonite near the Surf HM, and now she was offering her a Pokemon so he wouldn’t lose to Green!

He couldn’t let her down!

No, he would definitely become the Pokemon League Champion, because he knew that she was behind him, helping to support him. She was a real friend.

“I’ll just take your Krabby with me.” Misty grinned. “Starmie already knows Surf anyway. I won’t have trouble getting home.”

He watched as she surfed off. Wow!

The Cerulean Gym Leader sure was nice. After all, he’d been pretty arrogant around her the first time they met, but now they were friends.

Red grinned as he studied Gyarados’s Great Ball. All right!
