Hey guys! ^^ What's up? Here is Part 6 of Only the Pure Hearts Survive. I don't have anything to say except, I don't own Pokemon. Enjoy! Part VI Last time we left our heroes they had just gotten attacked by Giovanni. It seemed to our heroes that the chaos would be traumatic, but thankfully, everybody was safe in the end thanks to Ash and the Cloaked Figure, whose identity is still unknown. After the rescue the shadow figure had disappeared without any communication with our heroes. They were sleeping right now, resting for the day tomorrow. Everybody was asleep, except Ash. Ash was sitting near the campfire, thinking to himself. Our heroes still had that question on their mind of who the Cloaked Man was. But, Ash was battling with the fact if the Cloaked Man was whom he really thought. His voice clicked in Ash's mind over and over again. * Go Cacnea! Go Cacnea! * "I wonder if it is him… Is it really…James?" He said. *The clues were obvious. His Pokemon Cacnea, the biggest clue, and his voice was another. But that's where a bump comes in the road. * He thought. *This voice did in fact sound like James's, but it seemed different. His tone, his seriousness, and his over all personality seemed different. He looked so determined and wanting to prevail against evil. A personality so sudden from change that it seemed unreal. He was a conniver not too long ago, and this makes me wonder if it really is him…. But, what do I know. * He said with a little chuckle. *James does have a good heart. I saw it when we were in Locknile's lair. I saw it in his battling, they way he wanted to stop Giovanni…the way he wanted to help me out…You cant judge a book by its cover… I shouldn't judge people like that. What was I thinking? * Just then Ash had a major epiphany! One that would help him through out his journey, to slash through the webs of evil, to bring out a sun of hope and lighten everybody's heart to a new life of jollity and happiness! He said aloud, but not loud to wake up Misty and Locknile, "All people have good hearts. Everybody… No matter how dark a persons heart is, no matter how much they love to torment an innocent human being, deep down there is a light, a light in the core of their heart. No matter how evil they are, deep down there is a light that never goes out!" He said. He then said solemnly, "…its just some people fail to realize it. Their heart is so full of evil that the light can't break though, an evil so thick that sometimes it seems like there is no hope for the person…. but there is. We just have to help them realize it… We have to pierce their heart with an arrow of light and bring them back from the darkness!" Ash said with no cynical tones in his voice. "This goes the same for Giovanni. I bet and know that deep down he had a heart of gold. That golden light wants to pop out of its dark confides, but there is so much darkness it can't escape." Ash now knew another task he had to prevail. The gang and him have to rescue Locknile's family and rescue Giovanni's heart! It will be difficult to rescue Giovanni's heart, but with diligence, perseverance, and most important of all the power of friendship they will succeed! After our heroes had spent the night in the forest they departed the forest, and now they were heading toward Pewter City. They were tired and famished from the harsh evening in the forest, and they were ready to reach the Pokemon Center in the city. They soon had reached the Pokemon Center and entered with allayment. They had planned to stay for a little while for two things: One, to take a break and just relax. And two, to visit Brock and Duplica. They planed to stay for the rest of the day and planned to depart for Cerulean City by at least tomorrow. The Pokemon Center had a nice feeling today. Our heroes were out for so long that it felt so refreshing. The air felt fresh, the light was so pure, like white light, and all of the other trainers there seemed so blithe, and it seemed there were no seriously injured Pokemon. There were only Trainers refreshing their partners from a long journey they had accomplished, and that made the feeling even more exciting and happy. All of our heroes went to the front desk of the Pokemon Center. "Hello, Nurse Joy. Do you have any rooms in vacancy?" Ash said. "And, we would like our Pokemon refreshed please." Locknile said. "Yes, and you three are lucky, there are only two rooms left, but there are two beds in each room in one, and in the other is one bed." She said happily. "[Don't forget about me.]" Pikachu said a little annoyed. "I'm terribly sorry. The four of you are in luck." She said a little embarrassed, but Pikachu gave a smile and ensured her that her mistake was Ok. "Here are the keys to your two rooms." She said as she handed our heroes keys that said 14 and 15. "And, your Pokemon will be returned to you in half an hour." "Thanks!" They all said in unison, as they walked off towards their rooms. They reached their rooms in only a few minutes. They decided that Ash and Misty would share a room, with Pikachu, in the double room, and Locknile will have a room to himself in the single room. They unpacked and rested a little bit. Ash and Misty now had a little alone time. Ash and Misty were resting on the couch in the room cuddled up, lost in each other's love and care. Ash held her tight in his arms while Misty's head rested on his shoulder and Ash's head rested on her head. "Misty," Ash said as they looked into each other's eyes. "You know what?" Ash said compassionately. "What?" She said also compassionately. "I love you." He said as they looked into each other's eyes deeply. "I love you too." She said as they cuddled even tighter. "I love you more than anything in the world. You are my light and my world." Ash said with deep emotion. "You mean everything to me. Nothing can replace you. I couldn't live without you…." "And, I couldn't live with out you." Misty said with compassion. "There would be no reason to live… I couldn't go on…" She said while looking slightly downward with a slight tear forming in her right eye. "Don't say that!" Ash said turning serious. "You have every reason to live. You're life has all the meaning in the world. You have many unfinished tasks to fulfill in your life! You still have the burning desire to become a Water Pokemon Master. That has a lot of meaning. You shouldn't throw it away like some used tissue that will be recycled again and will rot in a garbage lot forever! You should want that enough to go on, through any obstacle that comes in your way!" Ash said with even more seriousness and compassion. "I know you are that kind of person! I've known you for a long time, almost my whole life. Even though we have been separated for twelve years, I still know you like you like I've been with you every second of my life. And, I'm your boyfriend and life long partner!" He said with a less serious face and more of a happy face, "I've fallen in love with you, because you are you. Because, you don't try to be someone else, and that is how I know who you are and what you desire and hope to accomplish. I know you so much to know that you would take your life away just because I lost mine…. You wouldn't do that…. I don't want you to do that…. I love you…" He said a little saddened. "…I would want you to find another. If I lost my life you would deserve another companion. I wouldn't want you to weep for the rest of your life, and I don't want your life to be filled with the fog of loneliness… I don't want you to experience sadness…. pain…. fear…. just like I did when we were apart. You deserve all the love in the world…" "…Thank you, Ash…." She said with the most cheerful smile on her face Ash had seen in a long time. They snuggled up as tight as they could and fell asleep in each other's arms, each dreaming of the days to come in their future. They were dreaming about many things, future accomplishments in the world of Pokemon, Ash with his dream of being a Pokemon Master and Misty with her dream of becoming a Water Pokemon Master, and most importantly of all, they were dreaming of their future years of relationship. They hoped, and believed would come true, that they would grow up, until they are old, in a relationship of happiness, a relation ship that would last until the day they died and would be buried by each other's side, to spend eternity together in the after life. Ash, Misty, Locknile, and Pikachu stayed a little while longer until they were rested up and then they set off for Brock and Duplica's house. It wasn't far away, so it only took about ten minutes on foot. They finally reached the apartment and headed up the stairs. Soon they were at the front door of the room. "I wonder what they have changed like since we have last seen them?" Misty said curiously. "Well, we'll soon find out." Ash said with a smile on his face. They all went in, expecting to see Brock and Duplica's smiling face, but they didn't! The place was empty! There was nothing in there, not even one piece of furniture! There was no noise. It was so quiet that you could here the settling of the house. "[What happened?!]" Pikachu said a little frightened. "This is their apartment, right?" Locknile said with curiosity and concern. Ash went to check the number. "Yes, it's 322. This is their apartment… What happened to them?…" He said with tears forming in his eyes. Misty took hold of Ash and tried to comfort him down. "It's alright Ash, I'm sure they are alright." *Poor Ash, * Misty thought. *He has been under so much stress lately, even small stuff can make him tear up. However, this is not small. Something serious could of happened to them. * Misty said, cursing herself for not having as much concern as she should have. "This must have something to do with Giovanni." Locknile said as he sat down on the ground, closed his eyes, and started to think. "Perhaps, it has something to do with his defeat back in the forest. He must see this as an act of revenge… Brock and Duplica were good people… I hope they are alright." He said trying to act calm, but deep inside he was feeling as much emotional pain as Ash and Misty. "We have to find them!" Ash said, holding his fist up with confidence and seriousness, but there was still the slight essence of distraught emotion left in his voice. *No matter what comes at him, he always stands strong. * Misty thought with a smile on her face. "We will find them, Ash." She said, as she held up a hand to his hand, which was still in the air. Ash took hold of her hand, and turned to her with more of a smile on his face. They took hold of each other and kissed. "Thanks Misty." He said, now completely cheered up. "[Guys! Look, what I found!]" Pikachu said with exclamation. That is the end of Part VI. I love it when I put you guys through cliff hangers. ^_^ Do you know what Pikachu found. Tell me in your reviews! Gotta Catch Ya Later!
