Part II

 

 

 

Everybody was enjoying their time off, before they had to set off, on their 
journey.  Especially Ash and Misty, making up for the lost years.  It would take 
a long time, before Ash and Misty had caught up, with each other, but they were 
enjoying every bit of it.  They were so happy with each other that they wanted 
to spend every second of every day, with each other.  Every moment was 
precious…every moment was special.

 

But, the time went so fast that before they knew it, it was time to set off.  
There was a bunch of good by’s and then immediately they set off, still waving 
until both groups were out of sight.

 

Ash and Misty were waking down the road, hand in hand and right beside them was 
Locknile.  After a while of walking Ash noticed that Locknile had a sad look on 
his face.

 

“What is wrong, Locknile?”  Ash, said.  Misty then noticed this.

 

“……What could Giovanni be doing to my family right now?…Are they in pain?…Is 
Giovanni abusing them?…”

 

Both, Ash and Misty could feel that he was very distraught, right now.  They 
could under stand his sadness…pain…fear.  They truly knew what that was, from 
their own experiences.

 

“Don’t worry about it, Locknile,” Misty said, “I’m sure your family is alright.  
I promise we will help them escape.”   She, said with a smile on her face.  But, 
deep inside, she knew she wasn’t sure of the outcome of their heroism.  
Locknile’s family could be dead, for all she knew, but she had to give her 
friend a few words of encouragement.  She couldn’t bear to see anybody like 
this.  Especially, after her experiences.  She had to keep him up to spirit, so 
that they could help his family.

 

“Misty, is right, you know.”  Ash, said with a smile on his face, but still 
feeling the same as Misty.

 

“Thank you, you guys.”  He, said with a smile on his face, looking hopeful.  “I 
don’t know what I would do with out you.  If it weren’t for you, I’d still be 
threatened to do stuff, by Giovanni…thank you.”

 

With Locknile’s hopes finally re-energized, they continued onward to their 
destination.

 

“Hey guy’s, I know this sounds like a stupid question, but where is Giovanni’s 
place anyways?”  Ash said, acting embarrassed, knowing that this was mentioned 
before.

 

“It’s ok, that you forgot Ash.  And, anyways, Giovanni has probably moved his 
castle by now, from that underground place, near Cerulean City.”  Locknile said, 
not as saddened as before, but with a more enthusiastic and hopeful voice, with 
in him.  “He is always on the move, and he could be anywhere by now, but there 
are plenty of people in this region, and we will track him down!”  He said, 
holding a fist up in the air.

 

“Yes!….but one thing still bothers me.”  Misty said.

 

“What?”  Locknile and Ash said at the same time.

 

“…That Powerful Pokemon…Mewtwo…  You guys don’t understand how much fear, was in 
me, when that creature attacked us…”  Misty, said with shivers in her voice.

 

“Oh My Gosh!!”  Locknile screamed out, “Did you just say Mewtwo?!  I over heard 
Giovanni talking about that creature!……I’ve seen him…he is unstoppable, but I 
never thought that Giovanni would us it for this situation.”  Locknile said 
getting shivers just like Misty.  “I’ve seen that creature blow cities to pieces 
with one Shadow Ball…no Pokemon can stop it.  It’s a Pokemon with no compassion 
towards humans at all…it’s just like a robot being controlled by Giovanni…  It 
is a killing machine, that never lets anything get in its path…” Locknile barley 
whispered, losing all signs of hope, in his eyes.  He fell on his knees, just 
staring at the ground, like he had no life in him.

 

Both, Ash and Misty could see the fear in his eyes.  They have never seen 
anybody this afraid before.  It was like he was drained of all his energy. He 
was pail white, and this was just thinking about Mewtwo.  They dared not to 
think, what he would do, if Locknile saw the horrid beast, once again.

 

Ash and Misty got on opposite sides of him, and tried to calm him down.

 

“Locknile,” Ash said, “Even though, Mewtwo may seem unstoppable, that doesn’t 
mean we should break down and give up…we should stay strong and face our 
fears…our foes.  Mewtwo can and will be defeated!  If we work together with our 
Pokemon, we will conquer our fears and our foes.  We are all friends and only 
that and the power of teamwork, will over come all our problems.”

 

“You know, Ash is right.”  Misty said.

 

“…You are right, Ash.  I won’t give up.”  He said getting up to his feet.  “Lets 
head on and defeat Giovanni and that monster!!  Thank you, you guys.” He, said 
with a smile on his face.

 

They went on with smiles.  It wasn’t long, after that, until they reached 
Viridian City.


”Hey guys, I think we should rest.  It’s almost sundown and we should get some 
rest at the Pokemon Center.”  Locknile said.

 

“He’s right.”  Said Misty.  “We should get some rest.  I’m getting a bit tired 
myself.”

 

But, that conversation didn’t go on very long.  All of a sudden, there was a 
loud explosion!  It sounded like it came, from down the street!  It scared all 
of our heroes half to death!

 

“What was that?!” Misty said, breathing heavily from the scare.

 

“We should go check it out!” Ash said, with a worried look on his face.

 

When they started, running down the street, there was another explosion followed 
by a loud scream!  But, that only made them run faster, with more worry!

 

When they got down the street, to the place of the scream, they were horrified 
at what they saw!!  They had never seen anything so dismaying!!  It frightened 
them to the bone!  But, little did they know, that there is someone here, which 
would lead them one step closer to their destination.
