Ash comforted Misty and let her know it would
be okay. Ash, being Ash, couldn’t keep his mouth shut.
“So,
you were calling for me to save you??” he asked with a half smirk on his face.
“ASH?!?!
YOU JUST HAVE TO RUIN A GOOD MOMENT DON’T YOU???!!!”
“I
was only joking. Calm down.” ‘Well better now than never I have got to do
something.’
“Misty
I wanted to tell you something… I-I just don’t know how to say it.”
“What
Ash? You can tell me anything, you know?”
“Well,
I know. It’s just that…. Well... I’m …”
“Yes?”
“I’m
really glad you’re my friend…’d@mn it’…heh”
“Oh?
‘How disappointing. I need to stop myself now, and get out of this dream world…L…
he doesn’t like me.’…*sigh*...”

“Well,
that’s all… heh… we better get going…” Ash stuttered. ‘She’ll never believe that… why can’t I just tell her… geez I feel a
tear in my heart…’
The
two FRIENDS made it back to camp, where Brock and Pikachu waited patiently.
“Everything
okay with you two?” Brock asked in an extremely worried tone.
“Everything
is okay.” Ash and Misty both replied.
“Well
we better get going… I promised a friend I would visit her at lake rage… it’s
about 5 hour walk from here… so we need to be pretty persistent on our time...”

They again were walking in silence. Every other
step you could hear Ash shuffling his feet, in effort to kick a rock. Every once
and a while he would look over at Misty till he thought she would notice.
Before long they were at lake rage with a small
town near by.
‘I got to get those two alone… how??.......Ah-hah!
I got it the perfect plan…’ thought Brock.
“Hey
Ash! Misty! You guys should go see a movie or something. My friend and I are
going to be a while.”
“Well,
okay… We’ll see you later Brock…” replied Misty.
Ash
and Misty stopped at a pokémon center to get a couple of rooms……^_~
“Hi
Nurse Joy!! Can we have to rooms please?”
“Sure!
Well… actually… the center is a little crowded. Could you two share a room?”
<Both Ash and Misty turned red and sweat
dropped>
“Uh…
yeah… sure. No problem!” Ash said still embarrassed.
Then
they headed to the movie theatre, and decided to watch a romance because Misty
beat Ash… Rock, Paper, Scissors… 4 times in a row. Bummer, they had to sit on
the top row… <all the other seats were taken, so Pikachu and Togepi were in their
balls> The movie had begun but Ash could hardly pay attention. He was
staring at Misty’s beauty which even showed in a dark movie theatre. He watched
as the light danced on her face, then he got a chill that went from the deepest
core of his heart all the way to his toes. He felt alive with her stunning magnificence.
Before Ash knew it the movie was over. When the two got out of the theatre,
they were still quite silent. Ash had
realized it was kind of late; he looked down at his watch.
“Oh
man!! We only have ten minutes to get back to the pokémon center!!”
“Let’s
go!!” Misty yelled.
Ash
and Misty ran all the back to the pokémon center with very little time to
spare.
“Wait!!”
Ash and Misty both yelled.
