Hey everyone Misty Kasumi Ketchum here and im here to say pokemon is not mine but that purple Arcanine, Coalnar, Firell, Moonlight, Silvia, Junior, Ruby and Joltous are mine and of course the fic but that's it unless I come up with any new characters in the future of  this fic. Oh, please don't forget to tell me if you guys like the idea of a sequel. Well, enough chat lets get on to Part 13!

        Part 13  An Unexpected Twist

Finally when Ash and Pikachu reach town they rush up the stairs of  the hotel where Misty and Brock were staying at since Ash was under house arrest in his own apartment. An when they got there they were panting and breathless. But then when they neared the door they heard furniture being knocked over and rapid foot steps so then Ash turns the knob. Just to see a figure in a black cloak with a keen blade in one hand draped over Misty  Now I got you Mist! says the figure, not noticing Ash and Pikachu in the door way.
HEY YOU LEAVE HER ALONE! said Ash in demand. An in response the figure turns around and says Go away loser or ELSE! as he tightens his grip on his blades handle.
Are else what?......Wait did you say loser?
I sure did replied the figure.
Whaaaa it cant be....Gary? said Ash as he fell over in total surprise.
Ha, I see the loser is as clueless as usual answers Gary as he pulls his hood back.
Argh, Gary says Ash as he gritted his teeth at Gary. So your the assassin!
That's right loser answered Gary with a grin.
Next Ash asks Why? and Gary answers with Because so I can earn some easy money and a load of new pokemon without even catching them my self.
What! said Ash as he glares daggers at Gary.
Hey its worth it adds Gary with a chuckle then he says Why do you think I have more pokemon  than You!


Then Ash cant hold his temper anymore so he runs to Gary outraged for what he just said and just when he's ready to jump him but a blade cuts through the air and hits him in the shoulder, causing Ash to cry out in pain as he falls to the floor. Then Gary walks up to him and asks with a laugh Already quitting loser?
Than Pikachu is about to attack Gary but Ash grabs him an doesn't let go, in fear that Pikachu might get hurt even as he shocks him he tightens his grip.
Next Ash gets up on his hands and knees but he doesn't notice Gary approaching him with his blade ready but Pikachu does and sends a devesting Thundershock which causes Gary to collapse giving Ash the advantage to rise with the blade that was just in his shoulder ready for Gary.
An later Gary gets up and strikes at Ash full force but Ash blocks it an as their blades clash Ash says YOU MAKE ME SICK! as he glares daggers at Gary.
Next Ash push's Gary to the floor with his blade but then he looks away and notices Misty dodging another figure in a black cloak. Wait a minute your here just to keep me away from the real assassin says Ash to Gary as he bears his teeth at him in hate but Gary doesn't answer he just knocks Ash off and as Ash gets up a blade comes from behind to his throat.
Ha, that's right Loser! Then Pikachu approaches but he stops unsure of  the  idea to attack, While Misty runs past the assassin for her bed as she jumps over a load of overturned furniture that's scattered all over. An when she's finally there she rolls under the bed as the assassins blade slices the mattress in two but then she comes out from the other side with a blade of  her own which had a auqa blue handle with a perfectly crafted white Dewgong wrapped around it, with beautiful white pearl's along with a light pink seashell, Then she approached  Gary and said Let Ash go!
Um ur uh Sure said Gary as a bead of sweat forms over his brow as Misty points her keen tip of her blade at his neck. And in response Gary releases his grip on Ash.
Then they run out the door but then the assassin follows but lucky for them Pikachu noticed his presence and delivers a powerful Thunderwave that knocks the assassin back.
Wait Misty what are you doing? asks Ash as Misty runs to the assassin.
Im gonna find out who he is!
An as she is about to pull the hood back Ash comes and pulls her away.
Ash let me go!
No, I don't want you to get hurt!.

Later they take Pikachu to the Pokemon center to heal him then they go to buy some food supplies a first aid kit and two sleeping bags then they enter the woods from before which they discovered was called shadow wood to set up camp. An when their done setting up camp Ash gathers firewood  while Misty feeds Pikachu some pokechow but Ash cry's out in pain as he does.
ASH KETCHUM WHAT DO YOU THINK YOUR DOING?
Im collecting  firewood, What does it look like im doing?
Not without bandaging that wound! Okay agrees Ash as he pulls off  his black shirt which causes Misty to slitly blush but Misty turns her head away before Ash notices. Next as Misty puts on alcohol he cry's out.
ASH QUIT BEING A BABY! You gotta get it clean so you don't get an infection.
Who are you my mom? asks Ash sarcastically with a grin.
NO! Then she hits Ash upside the head with her mallet.

An as Ash comes to he opens his eyes to see its dark than he discovers he's lying on his new sleeping bag (which looks just like his old one) and then he sits up and notices bandages wrapped around his wound and then he looks over to see Misty sitting on a log by the fire petting Pikachu who was asleep on her lap. Next he walks over and sits down by Misty and says thanks Misty.
You welcome Ash.
Hey, Misty I got a few questions to ask you.
Like what ?  asks Misty pretending not to know as she looked up at the starry sky and away from Ash.
Well, like where did you get that cut on the side of your face? he started.
Well, uhmm....
And what happened to your suspenders?
Well, I don't like them anymore after this happened she added as she indicated a red mark on the other side of her face.
What you got in a fight with them asked Ash with a chuckle.
THAT'S NOT FUNNY! says Misty as she held her mallet ready to whack Ash.
Ur uh Im sorry Misty says Ash nervously to calm her down.
Well, Okay just this once says Misty as she releases her grip on her mallet and lets it hit the ground.Woah, that was close added Ash with a sigh. 
Now Misty where did you get that fancy looking blade? he asked as he pointed to the blade lying on the ground close by.
Uhmm......
And how do you know the boss of  team rocket?
I.....
Oh, yeah where's your pokemon?
Misty then sighs and says Okay I give up, Ash Iv been hiding something for a long time already, Even when I met you ......I fooled you.
What do you mean you've been lying to me and Brock?
Yes, Im sorry Ash but let me explain.
Okay explain! says Ash with an icy tone.

      An hour later

So you were a rocket from the start!, So I guess that means are friendships a fake! 
No, Ash says Misty with tears streaming down her face.
Now if you don't mine me and Pikachu are leaving!
Next Ash grabs Pikachu quickly and turns around and walks away.
Ash! I didn't tell you a thing because I care about you and I didn't want you to get hurt!
Then Misty continues with her head down in sorrow I didn't even want you to get involved with my past and I lied about  following you for my bike, I really followed you still just to be with you, because Ash I fell madly in love with you, And that's why im not in Team rocket anymore! finished Misty with a sigh.
Then Ash stops and asks not bothering to turn around to look at her  Does Brock know about your crush?
Yes, answers Misty quietly relieved to finally let everything out.
Than Ash runs to Misty and asks Is that why you wanted  to know  who the assassin was?
Yes,
Im sorry Misty adds Ash as he embraces her in a warm hug.
Misty Ash continues .....Thanks for saving me from the fire and back there.
Why did it take you so long to thank me from saving you from that fire? asks Misty as she  looks Ash in the eyes.
Because I was a shame of  you thinking I was soft and caring...Next Ash stops when Misty puts a finger on his lips and says And not a tough guy huh?
Yeah...
My Ash you guys are all the same, Afraid to let a girl know you care because your friends are gonna call you weak, soft.
Heh, heh yeah, and im sorry said Ash nervously trying to think of what to say next.
So Ash do you love me? asks Misty as her face nears Ashs
Of course I do, In fact I joined TR because I thought you were dead, An when I thought that my dream of  being the greatest pokemon master was dead too.
Oh, Ash so you did love me before says Misty looking into his handsome brown eyes then she throws her arms around his neck in pure delight.
Don't you worry Misty ill get Togepi and the rest of your pokemon back, Then well worry about the assassin and getting rid of TR for good! said Ash as he tightens his fists to his side.
Right! agrees Misty then she nears Ash's face and Ash wraps an arm around her waist an pulls her close into a passionate kiss under the glowing moon and the starry sky.
