Long ago, it was Ash's 6th birthday and some of his PalletTown friends came over for the celebration.  His mother, Delia, made a cake decorated with a plastic Pokeball on top saying '6'.  When Ash blew out the candles, everyone shouted with glee except for his pregnant Aunt Colleen who suddenly screamed with fright!  'What's wrong, Aunt Colleen?' asked Ash.  'I.........I.......I think I'm going to have my baby!' shouted Colleen as she was try to call for help from Delia.  'Colleen, I'll call the hospital right away!' Delia said as she helped Colleen into the car.  Colleen's husband was at work at the time, so she would try to call him to come to the hospital.  Later that night, Delia was putting Ash to bed when he asked 'Mom, is Aunt Colleen going to be alright?'.  'Yes, Ash.  Right now, it's time to go to sleep.  *kiss on the cheek*  Goodnight, honey'.  said Delia and then she closed the door.  The next morning, Ash was sitting down to eat his breakfast when Delia got a surprising call from Aunt Colleen.  'Ash,  your Aunt Colleen had a healthy baby girl last night just right after you went to bed.  I think it was after 8:30 p.m., if I'm not mistaking'.  'You win that bet!  I'm usually in bed by that time' replied Ash.  Delia continued 'Would you like to go see your new little cousin after breakfast?'.  Ash screamed and said 'YEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!  I have a new cousin!'.  Then he ran out the door and yelled 'Hey, everyone!  I have a new cousin!'.  All the neighbors could hear him, especially Professor Oak who was riding his bike at the time.  'What's going on there, little Ash?' asked Professor Oak.  'I have a new little cousin!' shouted Ash happily.  'That's great!  What's his name?'  replied Professor Oak.  'Actually, it's a girl.' Ash said.  'Oh, well, what's her name?' asked Professor Oak.  'Uh......I don't know yet.  Anyway, I'm about to go see her in the hospital.  Wanna come?'  said Ash.  'Sure.  I'll be glad to come see you new little cousin.' replied Oak.  Soon everyone took off to the hospital to see Colleen Brown holding her little bundle of joy.  Then, whey everyone got to her room, Ash couldn't wait to see the baby.  Delia helped Ash up onto the bed so he could see his new cousin.  'So, what's her name?' asked Ash.  'Her name is Katherine Marie Brown.  You can call her Katie'.  replied Colleen.  'Can I hold her?' asked Ash.  'Sure.  You may need to sit down in a chair.  Then, put your arm under her neck.'  replied Colleen as she handed Katie over to Delia, who would hand her over to Ash.  When Ash got to hold Katie, he was so happy that he finally has someone to play with while his older cousin Samantha was away at the moment.  Samantha was about to sign a record deal with a big company because she has sooooooooo much talent.  Samantha's mother Debroah was there to see Katie.  Then she had to get back to Samantha later that day.  From that day forward, Ash was happy to have someone in his life who would be a lifetime playmate and best friend and hope they would be together forever.
