Ash Ketchum: Formula One Driver 4

I don't own Pokémon. Never have, never will!! Game Freak, Satoshi Tajiri, the WB, 4Kids Entertainment and Nintendo (I hate Nintendo) own it. As for Formula One and the teams and tracks, I don't own them either (wish I did, again). Formula One is owned by the FIA. Rich people in Europe own the teams of Formula One and rich people in Europe also own the tracks. And I don't know Michael Schumacher! The guy makes over $300 Million dollars driving for Ferrari... and he wins everything!!!

The drivers Keith Terrell, Riley Jenius, Ronin Vertigo and Francois Deletraz are mine. So, don't go off and steal them.

Writer's Notes:

Ash went to see the boss of Toyota and to tell him and his crew about missing the Hungary race. Ash wanted to take some time to figure out what to do after the FIA's age limit goes into effect in 2006. Ash went to get ready to leave when he found Charizard with Eddie Irvine and some of Ash's rivals at Eddie Irvine's mock restaurant, "Eddie's Morning Grill." During their breakfast, a submission hold from the Canadian driver from BAR, Riley Jenius forced Ash to tell the group where he was going. Later, all the drivers show up in a nice show of camaraderie to see Ash off. Even though Olivier Panis wanted to kill Meowth for losing a bet, which resulted in the Frenchman getting his face cut up by the Cat Pokémon. As soon as Ash, Pikachu and Meowth leave, the drivers start this giant barroom brawl right in the terminal with Jenson Button being the survivor. Also, Michael gives Ash the chance to race F1. Officer Jenny hears this and arrests Michael for kidnapping. Ash orders Meowth to use Fury Swipes on Jenny's face, allowing Ash, Michael, Pikachu and Meowth to escape the hospital. It was then that Ash wanted to join Formula One, which made Michael really happy as he drove to the airport to catch a special flight to the Ferrari base in Italy.

Chapter 4: Ash Ketchum: Public Enemy #1?!!

Back all the way in Pallet, the newly crowned Pokémon Master, Gary Oak was relaxing at a hillside with his trusty Pokémon, Umbreon. Gary, now 18 years old, worked hard to become Pokémon Master, but his victory was somewhat hollow. This was because his rival, Ash Ketchum has been missing for almost 4 years now. Gary doesn't know what how Ash went missing. He only heard that some German guy who has a lot of money and Power, took Ash. Deep down inside Gary, he wanted to beat Ash so bad. He wanted to show him that he is the greatest Pokémon trainer of them all!!! Only one person all of Kanto, Johto and the Orange Islands to know where and what Ash Ketchum is doing. That person is the Blackthorn City Officer Jenny. Just one week after Ash went with Michael to Italy, she called his mother, Delia Ketchum and told her about Ash going to Formula One. Sure, Delia was shocked, but she had a lot of faith that her son would be just fine. But, she wanted to kill her son for not telling her about this sudden change. As for Misty and Brock, they went their separate ways after Ash's disappearance. Brock continued his journey on becoming a Pokémon breeder and returned to Pewter City to spend time with his father and his brothers and sisters. Misty on the other hand, went back to Cerulean City after Ash went to Italy and has since, developed a hatred towards Ash. In fact, a lot of people that Ash knows want to kill him for a certain incident that occured back in 2003. But Brock knew that Ash left for a reason and didn't want to harm Ash the next time they cross paths. He just wanted to ask him calmly about where the hell was he the past 3 years before he did try to kill him.

Ash's private jet from Toyota landed at the Viridian City airport and he started to take out the team car, a new 2006 Toyota Supra RZ. The team loaned him the car and they said if it was damaged or destroyed, they would kill him!!

"It's nice to be back home, Pikachu." Ash said,

"Pika!!" Pikachu said,

"It's been nearly 4 years since we've seen this place. I just hope nobody tries to kill us." Meowth said,

"Don't worry. I bought these before we left." Ash said as he pulled out two .45 pistols from a secret place in one of Ash's suitcases.

"What? You bought guns?!!" Meowth yelled out,

"Yeah. You never know. I know how to use these things. Almost every driver knows how to use them." Ash said as he put the two guns away in his jacket. He put his stuff in the back seat of the car and Pikachu and Meowth hopped inside. "Let's head out. And pray that I don't have to use my guns." Ash said as he got into the driver's seat, started the car and drove out of the airport and onto the streets of Viridian City. Almost hitting 5 people and 4 Pokémon on the streets. Ash didn't know where to go first, so he went north to Pewter City. Unfortunately for him, Gary was there at the local Internet coffee shop, trying to find information on Ash. He was getting a lot of information on the Internet, but mostly from Formula One fan sites.

"Riley Jenius... no. Ralf Schumacher... no. David Coulthard... no. Alex Yoong... no. Eddie Irvine... no. Allan McNish, no. Ash Ketchum?!! Yes!! There he is!" Gary said to himself. He turned around and called out to a girl with red hair, sitting on a couch. "Misty. I found Ash Ketchum's page at Formula1.com!!" Gary said,

"Took you long enough." Misty said as she walked up to the computer,

"Hey! I didn't know Ash was in Formula One until now. He's driving for a team called Toyota." Gary said as he read Ash's career stats,

"Current stats for Ash Ketchum. 3 wins. Last year at Malaysia with Renault, Great Britain with McLaren and this year at the recent Germany Grand Prix with Toyota. 3 2nd and 3rd place Podium finishes, 6 poles, finished 5th in the Driver's Championship last year and currently 3rd in the Driver's Championship Standings after Germany. And he is... Michael Schumacher's apprentice? What is an apprentice? And who is this Michael guy?" Misty asked,

"An apprentice is a person who is learning the same style of driving from a master. Sort of like, passing on the skills and ideals to a younger generation. As for Michael Schumacher... he's the greatest driver in the world. But Ash had to crash into him and end his career." Gary answered,

"Ash never said anything about liking F1. He never talked about it. How dare he not make contact with us for over 3 years!!" Misty said angrily,

"If he ever comes back, we'll give him a welcome he will never forget." Gary said.

Ash and his Pokémon finally entered Pewter City and drove to the city center. He stopped the car and got out to get some fresh air. Meowth and Pikachu also came out for a breather.

"Ahh. There's nothing like the fresh air of Kanto." Ash said as he inhaled some more air, and then exhaled.

"Yeah! It's great to be back. I just hope we don't run into Team Rocket." Meowth said,

"Pika pika!" Pikachu agreed. Pewter City hasn't changed much in the past few years. But, Ash did spot one of those popular Internet Coffee House places.

"Wow. I keep on seeing those new Internet Coffee Houses all over the world." Ash said,

"Hey, twerp. I'm going to do some scouting around Pallet. Try and make sure you don't get killed, all right?" Meowth asked,

"Be careful, will you?" Ash asked,

"I will." Meowth said as jumped out of the car and secretly hitched a ride on a truck to Pallet.

"Well, Pikachu. Let's park the car and take a walk around." Ash said. Pikachu jumped back into the car and Ash drove to a parking lot and stopped the car. Ash and Pikachu got out and walked around the city. Gary and Misty were done and got all the information on Ash in Formula One.

"Listen to this. It's his page bio from F1i.com. Ash Ketchum is the brightest star in F1, thanks to his youthful enthusiasm and crazy racing style. Even though he was the one responsible ending the career of Michael Schumacher, the 6-time Formula One World Champion has taken the young Ketchum under his wing and his driving improved. He finished 5th in points with 2 wins with two different teams, Renault and McLaren Mercedes. In 2005, Ash has teamed with Japanese automaker Toyota and this partnership has blossomed into a great relationship." Misty said as she read Ash's career stats,

"Well, when I see him, he's going to get a World Champion beating!" Gary said as he punched his right hand into his left palm. All of a sudden, both Misty and Gary heard a very familiar voice. That was Ash's voice, but more grown up. The two turned a corner and saw the back of Ash Ketchum with Pikachu on his head.

"This place hasn't changed much at all. Now I only hope nobody knows who I am. Or we're dead, Pikachu." Ash said,

"Pi, Pikachu. Pika Pika. Chu." Pikachu said,

"Well, I guess you're right. We'll worry about some other time." Ash said,

"Hey, you! You look familiar!!" Gary called out,

"Yeah. Hold on a minute." Misty added. Ash knew who the voices belong to and started to turn around and face both Gary and Misty. Once Ash turned around, Gary and Misty had an evil smile on their faces. Ash still wore his favorite Official Pokémon League Cap, so that gave him away.

"Shit." Ash said to himself,

"Pika." Pikachu added,

"Ash Ketchum!! Time to pay for what you done to us back in 2003!" Misty said as she got out one of her Poké Balls,

"Pikachu! Thunderbolt, now!!" Ash yelled out, but Pikachu hesitated for some reason.

"Oh, Pikachu. You wouldn't want to do that to me?" Misty asked playfully. She knew that Pikachu wouldn't shock her, but saw she ever wrong.

"Pika... CHU!!!!" Pikachu knew that Misty wanted Ash hurt, so the mouse Pokémon launched a very powerful Thunderbolt right at Ash's ex-friend. Misty was fried in a matter of seconds and fell to the ground.

"RUN!!!" Ash yelled out and he ran down the street with Gary in hot pursuit.

"Ash Ketchum!! You can't run from me!!!" Gary yelled out as he was gaining on Ash, while passing a giant group of people.

"Was that Ash Ketchum? That F1 driver?!!" One person asked,

"It sure was. He's wearing that cap of his!!" Another person said,

"Let's get him!!!" A third person yelled out and they all joined the chase. Ash ran as fast as he could throughout all of Pewter City. He wanted to get back to his Toyota Supra fast. He started going into alleys as shortcuts, but some of the mob cut him off and sent him into a dead end alley.

"Pika, pi?" A worried Pikachu asked,

"This might be it." Ash answered as the gang closed off the only exit. And then, Gary walked past them and started the menacing slow walk towards Ash.

* * * * * * * * * *

Ash and Pikachu knew that they were in trouble. Ash thought it would be a good idea to return to home and try to explain his disappearance. It turned out this might be his last moment on this planet alive, as a Pokémon trainer and a Formula One driver. Ash knew there were too many people, as Pikachu was ready to thundershock the entire mob, but Ash calmed down his Pokémon. He reached behind his back to get his gun. Gary and the mob were getting closer and closer.

What am I going to do? Pikachu and I are dead meat. Ash thought,

"Pika pi, Pikachu pika?" Pikachu asked,

"No, Pikachu. Don't do anything. I have to use this, but I really don't want to." Ash said to his loyal Pokémon. Gary Oak, Ash's long time rival, turned hateful enemy, led the angry mob.

"All right, Ketchum. Just give up and we'll take it easy on you." Gary said. The crowds agreed with him, as they all heard something metallic go into something behind Ash's back.

"I don't think so." Ash said as he looked around and saw a can of something explosive. Ash smiled and in one swift move, pulled out one of his handguns and fired one shot at the barrel.

"Look out, he's got a gun!!" A person screamed as the barrel blew up and the entire mob fell dropped to the ground. Nobody was around the thing, so nobody was hurt. Gary shielded himself for a second and turned to see Ash running at him, waving a police baton.

"Ketchum?!!!" Ash hit Gary in the chest hard with the metal baton. Gary held his chest and fell to the ground.

"Make a break for the Supra, Pikachu!!!" Ash yelled out as he hit another person with the baton. One of the people who were angry with Ash is Brock. He too was pissed off at Ash's sudden disappearance and what he did back in 2003 and wanted some answers, but over time, his anger towards his younger friend subsided. His plan was to calmly talk to him and get the answers of what he was doing. He walked to the Pewter City Gym and saw this red and white sports car just sitting there.

"Huh? That's a Toyota Supra. And a nice looking one too. What is it doing here in Pewter City all alone without a driver?" Brock asked himself as he walked to the car. All of a sudden, he heard gunshots come from the city and saw a 17-year old boy, dressed in a black t-shirt and black jeans, wearing an Official Pokémon League Cap with a Pikachu on his head, carrying a gun and a baton. What? That guy looks like Ash Ketchum. Brock thought as he got a closer look at the car. He saw the driver's name on the car and what he saw shocked him. "Driver: Ash Ketchum?!!" Brock said out loud as he saw Ash Ketchum roll out of the way of a car, shoot out the car's tires and reloaded his gun.

"THERE'S THE CAR!! HEY, GET AWAY FROM MY TOYOTA!!!" Ash yelled out as he charged Brock,

"Ash!! Wait!! Hold your fire, it's me Brock!!!!" Brock yelled out, but Ash put away his gun and hit Brock with the baton. Ash jumped in his car with Pikachu right behind.

"I don't know what the hell happened here!! You guys are nuts!! It's not my fault that Michael Schumacher saved me and he gave me the chance of a lifetime!! Don't blame me!!" Ash yelled out as slammed the car door shut and started his sports car and got the hell out of Pewter City with Pikachu riding along in the passenger seat. Brock got up and held his side and watched Ash drive away from the mob.

"That has to be Ash. It just has to be him." Brock said as he headed to his house to take care of his injuries.

About 7 miles down the road, Viridian City's Officer Jenny heard that Ash Ketchum was speeding towards her and she placed spike strips on the road to stop him. She heard Ash's Supra heading right for the entrance to Viridian City. Ash didn't see her or the shiny little strip on the road. His tires hit the spike strips and exploded. The car lost control as Ash tried to regain control, but the flipped into the air. Pikachu didn't have anything to hold onto and was thrown around inside the car, then the Pokémon was thrown out of the car and landed into a pond nearby. Ash's car slammed into a tree just 50 feet from the pond.

"This is Officer Jenny. I found Ash Ketchum." She said into her radio. The officer walked slowly to the wreckage and to where Ash was and she pulled out a .50 caliber gun just in case. What she saw next shocked her. Ash was injured, lying on the ground out of the car window, holding two loaded guns and both of them aimed at her head. Officer Jenny reacts by pointing her gun at Ash's head. SHIT!!! He's loaded and pissed off!! Jenny thought as she stood her ground.

"Don't do anything that you or I will regret." Ash said, as he was ready to pump bullets in Jenny's head in only a fraction of a second. A crowd was gathering at the crash as other Officer Jennys arrived to make sure the incident wouldn't get any worse.

"Jenny. We got some... oh my god!!!" Another Officer Jenny came up and saw Ash pointing his two pistols at the Jenny with the more powerful gun.

"Get away from here and keep that crowd back!!!" Jenny yelled out to her sister and never looked away from Ash.

"Man. This place has gone crazy!!! I go into Formula One for 4 years and I come back and everybody is trying to kill me." Ash said as he continued his standoff with Officer Jenny.

"Ash Ketchum, listen to me. Just drop the guns and let's talk. I promise you that nobody will go near you for what happened in '03." Officer Jenny said,

"No!! Then you will try to kill me as much as the others! If only you sluts did your job!!" Ash said,

"Ash? I don't get it. I don't want to kill you, I just want to ask you some questions." Jenny said,

"Yeah right. I bet Gary Oak paid you just to say that. Well, it ain't gonna work, sister! The Formula One world was right! Hell, Ralf Schumacher was right! Your friends and loved ones will hate you for the rest of your life." Ash said. By this time, Ash's Mother Delia Ketchum, arrived in Viridian City to see some guy armed with two guns pointed at Officer Jenny, trapped in an overturned sports car and injured. Little did she know, that guy with the guns was her son, Ash. She hasn't seen her son in 4 years.

"Excuse me, Officer. Do you know who is trapped in that car?" Delia asked,

"That is Ash Ketchum, the Formula One driver for Toyota who went missing 4 years ago. He's from Pallet Town. As soon as he got here, people have been attacking him, or so he said." An officer answered. Delia gasped as soon as the officer said her son's name.

That's Ash?! What has happened to my little boy?!! Delia thought. She had to get to him and try to calm him down.

"Tell me, Officer Jenny... do you feel lucky? My Berettas have a higher rate of fire than your .50 caliber gun. Meaning, I can finish you off before you fire a shot." Ash said with an evil look in his eyes,

"Ash, please. Drop the guns. I won't let anybody get a free shot off of you. I just want to know where you have been these past 4 years." Jenny said calmly. Ash was just too focused on keeping those two guns aimed at Jenny. Little did he or Officer Jenny know Gary Oak arrived with his mob to get Ash Ketchum.

"Oh, look. Ash Ketchum is stuck in his little car." Gary said while he carried a steel pipe in his hands. Ash panicked somewhat and dropped his guns to get himself out of his car, but he was caught in the seatbelts.

"Come on, you Japanese piece of crap!! Let me out!" Ash said to the car like he was talking to it,

"Gary Oak! Drop the weapon, now!!!" Officer Jenny ordered as she pointed her gun at Gary,

"Officer, do the right thing and arrest Mr. Ketchum there." Gary said. They all heard a gunshot come from where Ash is and saw him standing up and out of the car. He had to shoot the seatbelt off of him.

"You people are all screwed up!! I should have stayed in Europe and taken that ALMS deal!!" Ash yelled. He started to back away where Delia got a real good look at her now older son. Ash looked around and got a plan brewing in his mind. He took out Charizard's Poke Ball and tossed it the air and Ash started firing over everybody's heads. The whole crowd got down as Charizard came out of the ball and Pikachu came out of the pond. "Charizard. Fire Blast this whole area. Do not hurt any people here whatsoever!!!!" Ash ordered.

"Holy crap!! Ketchum's Charizard is on steroids!!!" Gary yelled out. Ash's Charizard was larger than before 4 years ago. And more powerful than ever, thanks to the training Charizard did at the Charicific Valley and Eddie Irvine's cooking.

"Everybody get down!!!!" Officer Jenny yelled out as Charizard's Fire Blast covered everything with fire.

"Pikachu!! Thunder!!" Ash yelled out. Pikachu leaped in the air and delivered a very powerful Thunder attack, which shocked everybody around the area. Charizard landed on the ground and Ash and Pikachu hopped on.

"Ash!!!" Delia yelled out before Ash and Charizard make their getaway,

"Mom? Charizard, go in low and I'll pick up my Mom." Ash ordered and Charizard began to descend.

"What is he doing?" Delia asked as she saw the giant fire Pokémon coming right at her.

"Mom!! Just stay right there!!" Ash yelled out. Before she could say anything, Charziard swooped down low and Ash grabbed his mother. Once completed, Charizard took back to the sky, heading for Pallet town. Gary got back up and looked at the sky.

"I'm going to get you, Ash Ketchum!!" Gary said and left the area. At that time, Officer Jenny got back up and saw that Ash was gone.

"I need a wrecker here and can you send a ton a paramedics to my location?" Jenny asked into her radio,

"10-4. What happened to Ketchum?" The person asked,

"Gone. I don't know where he went off to." Jenny answered. She turned around and saw Ash's Toyota still on its side.

"Hey!! Can some of you guys help me tip this thing on its wheels?" Jenny called out,

"Do it your damn self!!" Somebody yelled out.

* * * * * * * * * *

After flying back to Pallet Town on Charizard, Ash and Delia arrived at the house, where Delia slapped her son's face really hard. Lucky for her, if she wasn't Ash's mother, she would have a bullet hole in her head right now.

"Ash Ketchum!!! Where were you these past 4 years?!!" Delia yelled as she started to hit her son in a blind rage,

"If you would stop hitting me, I would tell you!! I tried to tell Gary and Misty, but they almost started to beat the crap out of me!!" Ash said as he tried to withstand the attacks of his mother. All of a sudden, Ash got really angry and grabbed Delia's wrists with his hands, which surprised and scared her.

"Will you let me explain myself if you stop hitting me?" Ash asked in a harsh tone. He didn't like to overpower his mother that way, but with everybody trying to kill him, he had no other choice. Delia for the first time ever, got scared that her son might hurt her. Ash let her go and he sat down to tell her all the events on that night back in 2001. He told her how he and Pikachu went out one night 4 years ago to catch some night Pokémon, how Team Rocket ambushed then with over 20 Pokémon, James shooting him and the appearance of Mewtwo, how 5-time World Champion Michael Schumacher saved his life and the offer Ash just couldn't refuse and his Formula One career.

"Why didn't you try to contact me?! I was so worried about you." Delia asked, after finally knowing where her son was all this time. Ash was trying to make sure he didn't start yelling at her, because he was still pissed off about what happened earlier.

"I was so caught up in being a full time F1 driver that I just forgot about everything!! If it wasn't for Michael Schumacher rescuing me, I would have been dead on some road in Johto! You should thank him for crossing paths with me!!" Ash said sternly,

"Why are you talking about him so much?!! He took you away from us!!" Delia yelled,

"NO!! I went with him to see what it would be like to drive Formula One!! And... I did something to him..." Delia saw Ash's anger subside and now fill up with regret and guilt.

"Ash. What are you saying?" She asked,

"He was in a wreck at the A-1 Ring in 2004. His car crashed into a wall, broke in pieces and he sustained a major neck and leg injury. That ended his career... and I was the one who hit and almost killed him." Ash answered.

I finally got Chapter 4 done with. Is it true? Is Ash the one responsible for ending the career of Michael Schumacher? And is this the real reason why Ralf Schumacher wants to kill him? And what will Gary do to Ash? Or better yet, how is Ash going to get the hell out of Pallet without his Toyota? Some or all of these questions will be answered in the next chapter.
