Authors Note: Okay, let me start off by apologizing to all my faithful fans. I’ve left this story incomplete for over a year now. I have no excuse for delaying so long. I came back to visit the site, and I was shocked that my story was nominated for best AAMRN. I’d like to thank everyone who voted for me and the person who nominated. Even though I didn’t win, I’m still happy that there are people reading my story. I’m back for good now. I plan to finish this story and maybe even create a sequel.
Ash watched as Charizard destroyed what was left of Pewter City. He knew after this, there was no turning back. What was left of his past life, with his friends and family, was nothing but memories.
Rachel: Are you okay?
Ash didn’t answer. To many thoughts was going through his mind. He’d realized that a peace of him wanted to go back to his past. Go back to traveling with his friends.
Rachel: Ash…
Ash continued to stare at what was left of Pewter City. What ever was left of the little joyous kid that was left was burned with Pewter City.
Ash: Lets go…
Ash turns and heads toward his next destination. He knew after he completed his next mission, there was no turning back. He knew he could never be the same Ash.

News Reporter: Recently, Pewter City has undergone a strenuous attack. It can be said at this moment that there was survivors.
Misty: Noo, Brock!
Misty had been watching the news, hoping to see if her friend had survived. The attack on Pewter city took place a few weeks ago. Kanto’s News Team has been on the search, trying to find out who attacked Pewter in the first place.
Misty: Please, please let Brock have survived.
Misty held her hands in pray. Brock was the only person she had left. Ever since Ash had left, there was nobody there for here. It was as if a peace of her had been missing. Now Brock had left her too.
Misty: God, Please let Brock had survived.
She watched the T.V. as if it was her life support.
Misty: Please let Brock has survived.
She was now crying. If Brock has died, she didn’t know what she would do.
News Reporter: It looks like our team have found a body.
Misty looked up with hope. Maybe it was Brock’s body, maybe Brock was alive.
News Reporter: My God, It’s Brock Slate.
Misty began to feel a ray of hope.
Misty: He Must be alive, he must be!
The news reporter looks down. He looks as if he’s going to cry.
News Reporter: We’re sorry to announce this….But the Pewter City Leader, Brock Slate, is dead.
