Oh yea and the disclaimer. 'Cough' I am in no way affiliated with game freak or nintendo, I don't own pokemon. God have mercy dont sue me. Gee do we even need a disclaimer? Ok well anyway on with the story. This disclaimer applies to all previous fanfics titled "Pokemon Ultima" as well.

In this story several references are made to legendary pokemon. If the pokemon make an appearence in both the movie and the TV show, refer to the TV show, in other words, always think of the TV show unless it only appeared in a movie.

It only took about thirty minutes to get to the pokemon league. Everyone in the helicopter was pretty much silent, only the pilot talked. He was frequently talking into his helmet giving all sorts of info. to whoever was listening on the other end. Before long, Togepi let out a large cry of joy and Pikachu said "Pi-Pikachu!". The three kids looked outside of the window. They were flying over a huge building in the middle of mountains. The building appeared to be one large building with three smaller structures around it. There was a large forest to the west of the building and there was a huge fountain at the front. On the roof was apparently a landing pad. The helicopter slowly began to descent. Two men came out and began to wave glowing sticks. The helicopter landed with a 'thud' and the doors flew open.

"Okay everyone, we're here. Seatbelts off, let's go." said Prof. Oak eagerly. They all listened and jumped out after Prof. Oak. Ash had grabbed Pikachu, and Misty grabbed Togepi."Follow me you three. Pretty big place, don't want you getting lost."

Prof. Oak and the two men led Ash, Misty, and Brock up to these large doors and they entered. It was a bustling place. One with many people, little cubicles were all around. They were computers, plants, large televsion screens. Just like a real buisness. There were many pokemon too. A rather large Machoke was carrying a bunch of boxes. A butterfree seemed to be holding a letter in it's hands and appeared to be bringing it somewhere.

Prof. Oak continued to bring them somewhere. They eventually reached a long hall, Prof. Oak was just about to bring them through large brass doors when...

"Wait, perhaps...Would you three be kind enough to wait down that hall, in the Pokemon Center. If you healed your Pokemon, it wouldn't be a bad idea either."

Although the three were being given a choice, they had a feeling Prof. Oak was really asking them to go down there anyway. They agreed and proceeded. They handed their pokemon over to the Nurse Joy and began to talk.

"I'm really dying to know what's goin' on." said Misty who was gazing starry eyes at a huge portrait of a Kyorge.

"Me two," Ash replied. "I wonder what the big deal is, I mean they have trained proffesionals for this kind of stuff. Why would they need kids like us. What do you think Brock?"

"Well, maybe, like Prof. Oak said, they have something that kids like us would only be prepared for. If it has something to do with Team rocket though I shutter to think how bad it could be. Than again I don't think they would send us into anything that was too dangerous right?"

"Maybe," Misty said as she continued to gaze at the picture, "it has something to do with legendary pokemon. Like Prof. Oak said 'Pokemon Phenomena'."

At that moment Nurse Joy came out with a bunch of pokeballs and said that there pokemon were ready. At the same time as well Prof. Oak came back and said its time. Nurse Joy wished them luck, for some reason, and they walked off. This time, they went through the brass doors...

In the mean time Jessie, James, and Meowth were all at the front desk talking to the lady with a large white 'R'.

"It will only take me a second to pull it up" she said sweetly. "Mmm let's see. Jessie, James, and Meowth, Ah-Ha! There we are, okay, Mmm, it appears you're working with, Amanda and Ben. "

"We gotta work wit' people?" said Meowth who was on tip-toe so that the woman could see him.

"Yes, you do. And the pokemon you'll be required to steal are, mmm...Ah-Ha here were are, a Remoraid, a Beedrill and a Jumpluff."

"No offense or anything Ms." said James, "but why can't we just go out into the wild and simply catch these pokemon?"

"Because, Master Giovanni has been tracking Pokemon that have been trained to their full potential. If we caught wild pokemon, well they would be weak and wouldn't contribute to the special pokemon. Oh look, the two you'll be working with."

Two people emerged from the big auditorium doors. The girl had long pink hair. It was split into two pig tails and she had large icy blue eyes. The boy looked sullen and his hair was a short blonde. He looked slumped and his eyes were small slits that showed a slight tint of hazel. They walked over to Jessie and James.

"Why hello you two," said the lady behind the desk, "these three are your partners, meet Jessie, James, and Meowth. You three meet Amanda and Ben."

"Pleasure!" said Amanda, "Gee I heard alot about you two, They say you two owe Team Rocket the most money in over fourteen years. Here that Benny, someone who's near worse than us!"

"Yeah sure..." said Ben. His eyes had huge shadows under them.

"Worse than us? What's that supposed to mean?" asked Jessie snotily.

The girl laughed. "You haven't heard of us have you? Giovanni nearly fired us over sixty-seven times! We really aren't that good, we've never successfully stolen any pokemon and people are constantly makin' fun of us but it's okay because we love our jobs, right Benny?"

"Yeah sure..."

'I feel kinda bad for them..' thought Jessie. For Jessie, that was a miracle in and of its self...

Back with our three heroes...

There they stood, on a huge Pokeball symbol, They stood before a bunch of tables. Prof. Oak said that they were going to be simply tested to see if they were eligible for the job. Not before long, a bunch of people walked in.

"They," whispered Prof. Oak, "are the U.P.A.. They'll be the ones surveying you. I'm with them too but don't worry, if you choke i'll help you." He then walked off to one of the seats on the far right.

Ash however didn't feel to bad because he began to realize who each person was as they walked into the light. They were mostly Gym Leaders. Ash first saw Ericka from Celadon City, she was taller and had purple hair now, she smiled and sat down. Whitney came next, she winked at Brock and Ash and sat down. After her was Falkner, Blaine, Kuja, who was wearing a tux, and Brock's father (Brock waved). Sabrina came next, she gave a large smile, something that was against her personlity. Misty's oldest sister, Lt. Surge, and then came Morty. Chuck, who was flexing his muscles, Clair, Jasmine, who had a golden tan, and Prcye. When they all sat more gym leaders came in, but Ash didn't recognize them. Brock whispered that their from the Hoenn region. Finally came the Elite Four, Agather, Loralei, Bruno, and Lance. Prof. Elm was there from the start apparently. And Prof. Oak had already sat down. Another man, dressed like a Prof. sat himself down next to Prf. Elm.

"And so we begin" said Lance, "Before anything else be said, Giovanni could not make it do to previous obligation, Bugsy is not of age, Tate and Liz have not picked which one will serve for this quarter. Now, Ash, Misty, Brock, it is quite a pleasure meeting you again. I'm sure you recognize most of the people here. Anyway we're going to just ask you some really simple questions and we just need you to answer them. Ahem now we shall begin." Lance picked up a paper. "Ash how old are you? Ash responded "14" and where did you live? Ash responded "Pallet Town." "Now," said Lance. "explain to us, ALL of the legendary pokemon you have seen."

There was silence. Ash opened his mouth.

"Moltres, I saw him at the indigo league, he protected me from the fire. Articuno I saw in a mountain, he saved me and my friends, including a person named Tracy who's with Prof. Oak. I saw Zapdos over a lake, he helped us recharge a special crystal. I met Entei and Unknown trying to help a little girl get what she wanted. I met a celebi in the forest once, I even time traveled (Prof. Oak shifted a little in his chair). I also met a Dragonite, Tyranitar, I had a Lapras. Then there was the Lugia I met, with its baby. I was picked up by an Aerodactyl, I saw a huge amount of Kabuto, I've seen Omatye, Omanyte, and a Kabutops. I saw a Ho-oh on my first day of training and another time. And I, (Ash looked up and sort of scratched his chin) feel like I saw a Mew. And than there's suicune, I saw her on my first day in Jhoto. I've also met a Slowking." Ash concluded.

Everyone was staring, open mouthed at Ash. Even Misty and Brock looked at Ash as though he was crazy.

Okay...um...let's vote" said the small grey haired lady who was Agatha of the elite four. "Whoever is in favor of these traineres becoming apart of the P. Sky Raiders raise your right hand."

Overwhelmingly everyone except Agatha voted. Ash figured Agatha wasn't aloud to vote but he didn't care if she couldn't or wouldn't.

"Well that settles it. Congratulations you three. You are now officialy apart of the Pokemon Sky Raiders Team. Don't worry everything will become apparent to you once you are briefed. Prof. Oak, Prof. Birch please take them to the meeting room. Everyone else there will be a three minute break and then we shall proceed to the meeting room."

Prof. Oak and the person named Prof. Birch beckoned them over to where they were standing. They went over, they had trouble, however, of moving their legs. They were dead nervous.

"It's okay you two, c'mon this is just a little meeting to tell you whats going on. Pikachu, you can come to don't worry" Said Prof. Oak as her opened steel doors and pointed to the inside of the room. When everyone walked in they saw that it was a large room with a chandelier and a large table in the center. Around the room were seven other people talking. They appeared to be Ash, Misty, and Brock's age.

Over in the corner was a boy and girl. The girl was short and had long black hair with flaming red eyes. She was skinny and her face was rather long. She was talking to a boy who had a hair that was a slight shade of green and his eyes were clear blue. He was just laughing at some of the things the girl was saying and shaking his head in agreement. Over on the other side of the room were two boys. One had red hair and he was rather tall. The boy next to him was wearing glasses and had a short figure. He seemed to be shaking almost. Sitting at the table was another girl. She looked shy and distant. She was snacking on some fruit that was already on the table. And over by the head of table...

"Richie, Tracy!" Ash shouted alarming the room to his presense. He ran over to his two friends who both smiled back and waved.

"Hey Ash! What's up, can you believe we got picked?" said Richie who ran over to Ash and shook his hand.

"I know I can't" said Tracy who was shaking Brock's hand, "this is just all too wierd."

"How long have you two been here," Misty asked.

"About two hours," replied Richie. "They kept on telling us to be patient but its so hard, we have no idea whats goin' on."

"Well, well, well" said a voice from behind, "if it isn't Ashy-boy. Late to the party as usual."

"GARY!?" shouted Ash, "What the heck are you doing here."

"They recognized true talent with me Ashy-boy. But don't worry I hear they have a loser squad for rejects like you."

Ash wanted to give Gary a dirty gesture but the U.P.A. walked in at that moment and they all began to sit around the table. The gestured for all of the people in the room to do the same. Everyone was squished together really tight. Lance, however, was standing at the front of the room with a microphone.

"Okay" said Lance into the microphone,"I'm not good with these types of things so i'm not gonna do a long sappy introduction. Now, pokemon trainers, you have all been selected for a thing called the Pokemon Sky Raiders. What are these sky raiders? Well they don't really raid skies, it's just an alias. But there purpose is to embark on a mission to find out more about this team rocket operation. Before I continue I might as well introduce all of you to one another. So please stand when your name is called. For confidential reasons your last name will not be given. " Lance took out some index cards and looked down at them.

"Okay um... first is John!" said Lance. The boy with the glasses stood and he was applauded. "Next is Kristen," The girl with the long black hair stood up and she too was applauded. "Misty," Misty stood up shakily and everyone clapped. "Michael," the boy with the shade of green hair stood up. "Brock," stood up shakily. "Erin," the shy girl who was eating the fruit stood up. "Rickie," he stood up waving. "Gary," he took a bow ('showoff' thaught Ash). "Tracy," he stood. "Mark," the tall kid stood up. "And finally Ash," Ash stood and he waved politely.

"Well now that that's over we will begin. You have all been selected for a Pokemon Squad Infiltration Team. Now I don't want to throw all the details at you at once, so I won't. But before we do do that, first we will have a Pokemon Battle. To determine who will become leader of the squad. Now we could give you a big long test but really, what good will it do? You'll be using your pokemon and thats where it counts. So if you all would follow me..."

He headed for two doors on the opposite side of the room and opened them, inside was a huge stadium and it had no roof. The air was chill, it was only about 11 in the morning. Everyone got up and proceeded to the stadium.

"Finally," said Ash, "a Pokemon Battle!"

Well there you have it, Part 4, I hoped you liked it. For all of you battle-savy fans, I guarentee Part 5 will have lot's of pokemon battles. To make things more interesting, email me or send a review with ideas for the other trainers pokemon, I may even give them the team you suggested!
