The snow fell hard and Sparky looked up. Her Pikachu was sitting on her sholder, sleeping. Sparky is not the Pikachu, but the hero of our story. Her faded denims, slightly baggy because of the boot-cut type jeans, scraped the rim of her navy blue high-tops.
"We gotta find a place to rest. It's so cold, Pikachu." Sparky said. The Pikachu opened it's eyes and gave a weak nod. Obviously it wasn't sleeping because of the cold. Sparky kept on walking, even though she felt as though she would faint, she walked on.
Up the road was the small town of Pallet. Sparky smiled happily. Now she could rest. But, something hurt really badly inside her. Her head ached so badly that it was a cold pain. She felt herself fall over and hit the snow. The next thing she knew was that she blacked out. Her Pikachu jumped off Sparky's shoulder and was trying to get its master to wake up.
"Pika pi! PIKA!!!!" The Pikachu cried. It let a few tears fall before running to find help. It stalled because it was scared to leave Sparky just lying there, out cold.  It ran to a house and cried out, "PIIIIIKAAAAAACHUUUUU?" as if to ask if anyone was there. A boy came to the door. He was wearing a blue vest with white sleeves over a black shirt. He also wore green gloves with no finger holes, and pants. He had only socks on, he seemed to be relaxing before this Pikachu came knocking on his door.
"Wha? Oh! A Pikachu!" The boy said. He ran his fingers through his black, poofyish hair. Sparky's Pikachu pointed down the road where the boy looked and saw a small figure lying in the road. He ran as fast as he could because it was probably the Pikachu's trainer.
He reached Sparky and turned her over. "Miss! Excuse me, miss! Can you hear me??" The boy asked. He looked very worried even though he did not know her. He gently picked her up. Her legs draped over his right arm and her head was held by his left arm, Sparky's face twords his torso.
At the boy's house, he set her down on the couch. He set a pillow under her head and covered her with a blanket. She shivered and weakly opened her eyes. She shivered even more when she was awake. Her cheeks were pale and she had a slight fever.
Sparky's vision was blurry and then came into focus. She saw the boy and her heart skipped a beat. She thought he was cute and sat up, startled.
"Wh...wh..who are you?!" Sparky asked. She had no idea where she was. But somehow the boy looked familiar.
"Ash Ketchum. Your Pikachu came to my door, and showed me you unconcious in the snow. You have a fever and you gotta rest." He said. Sparly looked at his features mor closely. It was him! Her first grade crush! She went to Pallet Elementary with him and he was her first crush! She smiled and said, "Ash! It's me Sparky! From first grade..!" He smiled too and his eyes widened.
"You're right! Sparky! I thought I'd never see you again!" Ash said. He smiled too and they hugged. Pikachu jumped up on the couch and gave a squeel of delight. Sparky patted it on the head and layed back down, slowly falling asleep.
