Jessie swaggered over to the table where her cell phone was, picked it up and dialed James’ number. James picked it up even before the first ring could be entirely heard.
"Jessie!" he squeaked.
"Hey James…." said Jessie in a questionable tone of voice.
"What’s wrong?" James asked.
"Oh, nothing!! Nothing at all….I guess I’m just thinkin about how bad I want you right now…." Jessie said as she twirled a lock of her hair around her finger.
"Well, someone had a change of heart…..heh heh heh….."
"So how bout it, Jimmy boy?" Jessie giggled.
"Well, I dunno…." James teased "You sure sounded unwilling a minute ago…."
"Oh, come onnn…you know you wanna. Besides, hearing your deep sexy voice always turns me on….mmmm…." Jessie sighed.
"Heh heh…..well if you insist!! Hmmm…..what are ya wearin?" James said, grinning to himself widely.
"Who says I’m wearing anything??" Jessie laughed.
"Why you…..you’re not supposed to get undressed yet!! I’m supposed to help you!" Jessie laughed mischievously.
"How big is the bed?" James asked.
"Oh, don’t worry….it’s nice and big and…..very bouncy."
"Ooh…..perfect." James cooed. "Make the room nice and beautiful for us, kay Jess??"
"Mmhmm…." said Jessie. "I’ll light candles and play music and decorate the bed with rose petals."
"Ohh my favorite!" James squealed. "What about the bathtub? Will that accommodate both of us?" he went on.
"Oh yes, definitely." Jessie said "And I’ve even got some nice Rose-scented "love oil" for nice relaxing massages."
"Mmm….how bout some whine?" James wondered.
"Yep, that too….heh heh." Jessie said.
"Perfect! Want me….I mean…heh heh, want to just quit Team Rocket altogether, forget about everything and run away together?" James said.
"Oh, no….we can’t. Not yet, anyway. But I know one day we’ll be able to escape…together." Jessie sighed. James was silent for a moment.
"Jessie….I love you so much." James sighed, feeling a lump forming in his throat and tears welling up in his eyes.
"James…..what’s wrong??" Jessie said, clutching the phone with both hands and having worry in her voice.
"Nothing….I just……" James trailed off.
"What?" Jessie said.
"……miss you….and I want to be with you more than anything right now." he sniffed.
"Sshh….it’s ok, it’s ok….." Jessie soothed. "We’ll be together again very soon…."
"Not soon enough…..." James whined, wiping his tears away and loosening up a little.
"I know…." said Jessie. "But I promise everything will get better." she smiled then, not being able to hold back a few tears. Both were quiet for a moment, allowing the tears to subside completely, then Jessie spoke.
"Well, I think I’d better get going…..the boss is gonna kill us both if he finds out we’re spending all of our time missing each other…..as much as I would like to. But I’ll think about you James….and probably gaze at your picture here for another 30 minutes after we hang up before I actually get up and do anything……heh.
"Hmm…..well, I know what I’m gonna do." James said.
"What?" Jessie asked, smiling.
"I’m gonna sit here holding the rose you gave me before you left, staring at your picture and listening to that CD of love songs you burned for me until I’m delirious." James said cooed in a warm voice full of desire."
"Awww….." said Jessie. "I love you James …..forever."
"Love you too, Jess….always." said James, blowing kisses into the phone and making Jessie giggle.
"Kiss me-CALL me tomorrow." Jessie said, giggling endlessly.
"Kay….bye, sweetheart." James said, laughing also.
"Bye Love…." said Jessie, and then they hung up.
Love is a good thing…..even when you’re far apart, you still have connections one way or another. ^.~
