Brawly's Surfing Story (20 Chapters) (Part 1 Revised Copy 1)

Prologue – Introduction

Before you start reading the fanfic, I will tell you as a DUDE about the main character so people that doesn’t see the anime nor play the game, then you will know something about him.  This section is added to reduce confusion for new Pokemon Fans.

Brawly is the Dewford Town Gym Leader in the Houen Region; He is the 2^nd gym leader in the game, basically and he trains Fighting Pokemon. In the Anime, he also surfs with his fighting Pokemon. He uses the surf ability to make his Fighting Pokemon stronger and YES has popular with girls, though. Well, hopefully you know a bit about him, now yets explain about other things about the story.

The Pokemon Surfing Association is a group for surfers that want to surf with their Pokemon. They get to participate in surfing contests and also win prizes and respect. It’s only held on windy days. So yets explain how the tournament works. There are 3-10 judges that judge each surfer. The rating scale is 1-10. Ten is being the best and one being the worst rating. After the judging, they will receive the results to see if they participate in the Championship or not and Only 10 surfers in total gets to the Championship. There, the Championship will determine the Surf Master. That’s enough information to know about in the story, so I hope you enjoy the first half of the story!

Chapter 1

It was a clear, sunny day at Dewford Island, the waves in the summer season is great for surfing. It was a time to start surfing. Brawly decides to close his gym for the day and go out to surf in the big wave that happens every 2 years. Well, there’s a girl that competes against him. Her name is Allison. She is a cute girl with a Surfing Pikachu. She is really good at surfing as Brawly, but she always says bad things about him.

One day, they met each other at the surfing lounge. Yep, Allison bumped into Brawly. Then a fight started to break out.

"Watch where you going, loser!" Allison said rudely.

"Dude, there’s something with you lately, so chill!" said Brawly.

"I don't care about you, I just want to win the Pokemon Surfer's Championship," said Allison "so later loser!"

Well basically, Allison is just envious because Brawly gets the girls crowd around him and Allison gets no popularity whatsoever. Well, basically because Allison has a cute pikachu and he doesn't, but skill will matter in this championship.

While Brawly is getting ready, someone knocks on the door. Then a bunch of surfers ran out and stepped over Jessica.

            “Yo Dude!” said Brawly, “It looks like you are taking a nap!”

            “Uhhhh,” said Jessica “Are you the Dewford Town Gym leader?”

            “The Gymleader is me!” answered Brawly “Well, my name is Brawly, and I can’t do a gym match now because I want to surf!”

            “Awwww, I want a Gym Match now!” complained Jessica.

            “Maybe tomorrow when there are calm waves,” said Brawly “So, Surfs up!

           While the surfers head to the beach, Jessica decides to spend a day off on the Dewford Beach. There were a lot of people on the beach. Jessica changed into her swimming suit and took a beach blanket on the beach. She let out her Mudkip and Pidgey from the Poke ball. They started to play beach ball. Then Jessica notices something; she noticed Brawly surfing. Then Brawly went off the surfboard and walked towards her.

            “Yo, dude!” said Brawly with excitement, “I guess that you are taking a day off.”

            “Well, yes!” answered Jessica, “I had nothing to do because I lost my Laptop.”

            “Well…” said Brawly but he got interrupted when Jessica’s Mudkip was chough in a net.”

            “Noooo!” she screamed, “My sweet Mudkip!”

            “What you are doing!” Brawly said, “Why would you steal a trainer’s Pokemon!”

            It was Team Aqua at their naughty schemes again! They were up to something that always breaks the law. They were numerously caught for stealing Water Pokemon.

            “Well, well, well,” said a Team Aqua Grunt, “Here what we found, A little cry baby and a though guy standing against us!”

            “Leave me alone!” screamed Jessica

            “Let me handle this,” said Brawly.

            “Okay then, tough guy!” said a Team Aqua Grunt “Go Crawdaunt!”He releases his Pokemon and Craw daunt appears. It looks strong and healthy.

            “Yets go Hariyama!” said Brawly and his Hariyama came out. It looks well trained due to his surfing.

            “Yets get a move on!” said Team Aqua Grunt

            They had a very fierce battle, but the Team Aqua Grunt got defeated after the battle.

            “I’ll be back, and you will be sorry!” said Team Aqua Grunt Revengefully.

            “Hopefully, he won’t come back, little Dude!” said Brawly.

            “Well, thank you!” said Jessica thankfully, “My sweet Mudkip is back with me”

            Well, it was a happy ending after all, but Brawly used too much time on battling that he couldn’t surf because it’s became dark. Hopefully, he will be ready for the Championship in 3 weeks.
