[Prologue]

Remember;
This is for dreams.
This is for the voice.
This is for the creature..

People screaming, running. A lavender cat rushing towards a forest not too far from the city, his blood red eyes wide open. He sniffed the air, smelling out his victim. He caught the scent. He rushed to the entrance of a cave. There he saw a teenager, her ebony hair hugging her frame.

He then noticed a woman standing over them, scarlet hair down and loose, clothes torn at the shoulders. Her sapphire eyes looked up at him in fear, arms out protecting the young one, supposedly her children. He then extended his teeth, hoping to enjoy the meal he had just found..

Her emerald eyes immediately snapped open, gasping for breath. She got up from the cool green grass she had just been laying on. Her golden fur gleamed in the sunlight shining through the trees. This can't happen. It can't, she thought. She bounded to the edge of the forest, only to be bounced back by the shield that had held her captive for eighteen long years. “Stupid shield,” she said. Running toward a large pine near her, she then lay her delicate legs down on the grass, her tail sticking straight up. She laid her head down, her eyes glimmering with tears.

You saw her, didn’t you? A strange voice floated inside her head. For eighteen long years, this voice occupied her head constantly.

She’s in danger, and I have to save her. She felt tears come to her eyes. She was the only person she knew was well. She couldn’t lose her. Not again. Not when she had let her down before.

How do you suppose we get out of here? The voice replied again. Worry surrounded the voice yet again.

Don’t know. I can’t stay cooped up like this. She sighed, holding her head down low. She couldn't take it anymore. She covered up her eyes, and started to shed tears.

We’ll save her, Sam. We’ll save her. Inside her mind, a pikachu sighed.
