Who’s
Side Are You On?

Part
10
I know, this fic’s getting really weird. Even I’m a bit confused. When this fic’s finished, I think you guys will say, “What?!” Anyways, I made this part long to make up for the long delay. And I’m thinking of making a map for you guys who have no idea where the areas in this story are.
Near Morunar…
There
were two people in the room. It was dark; the only source of light was a dark
red orb in the middle of the room.
It
cast an eerie red across the room. Some would be tempted to run to the door.
Only to find it locked.
In
front of the orb sat a figure. The figure had broad shoulders, enormous hands,
giant legs, and in its hand was a
sword.
It was wearing a shiny suit, with spikes jutting out of the shoulder area.
Giving the figure an intimidating look.
The
figure was seated on a chair. No, not a chair, it was more like a throne.
Spikes protruded from the top.
Opposite
of the figure was another figure. This figure didn’t have as big a build as the
other one. This one had a
more
slender physique, a womanly form.
“Shall
we begin the test?” said the seated figure; its voice was low, and coarse.
“Yes,
master.” Said the other figure.
“Very
well, get ready…” Then the seated figure brought his hand to the orb. He
muttered some words and then the
room
was instantly quiet. Only the sound of the standing figure’s sudden outbursts,
which went like, “No!” or
“Ah!”
In
case you didn’t know, the figure’s head, the one opposite of the one sitting,
was being filled with ghastly images.
Images
of death, blood and gore, things too horrible to explain. And to make this even
worse, the person who was
being
tested had to endure excruciating pain. What kind of training is this you ask?
It is a test of what one can handle.
“Do
you want to quit now?” asked the seated figure, almost happily.
“No,
i-it-it’s ok.” Said the standing figure with obvious effort.
This
went on for a few minutes, until the seated figure said, “Enough, you have
passed.” The standing figure gave a
relieved
sigh. The standing figure then decided to plop down onto the ground. The person
was warned, taking this
test
would give the participant in the test a headache for several days.
“Now,
you’re done with your training.”
Yes
I know you idiot.
Was what the other figure wanted to say, but thought better and kept it.
“You’ll
be assigned your first mission. You have to go to the stone.”
“Huh?
You want me to get that stupid stone?” right after that, the now seated
figure’s eyes filled with outrage. Oh shoot.
She thought. The seated figure stood up. He
walked over to the other figure. The clink-clank sound of the figure’s scale
greaves
disrupted the near-perfect silence.
The
figure picked up its female companion by the neck. Lifting her three feet high,
in the air. There was an awkward
Silence,
and inside that awkward silence was a disturbing feeling.
“Now…
what did you say?” asked the figure with a hint of anger.
“I-I-I,”
the female figure faltered, “I said the stone… sure… I’ll get the stone.”
“Good, now, go to your quarters. We are done for the day.”
In Tohoki Village
It was
sunny day. Ash was resting under a big apple tree while Gerald went to town to
run some errands.
“Pikachu
would love it here.” Ash muttered to himself, “Speaking of Pikachu, how is
Pikachu doing? Well,
Gerald
prohibits me to travel through time and whatnot.”
Then,
suddenly Ash saw something amazing. Misty, but… she wasn’t on her flying
creature or armor, but just
in normal
everyday cloths. From the past anyways. She was carrying a big basket full of different
fruit. Ranging
from
apples to oranges, and from that to strawberries. Ash was really puzzled by
this. The last time he saw her
she
was in a suit of armor, and before that encounter she was working in the
fields. Ash could not sort out what
he
was thinking. Maybe this is a clone of Misty, or maybe the other Misty is
the clone of Misty. Maybe they’re
both
clones of Misty. So where’s Misty? Locked up? In the past, in the future? Ash’s thoughts were really
out
of control.
Misty
was wearing a grayish-brownish shirt on. Her pants were the color of mud, with colorful
designs at the heel.
Misty
had a happy-go-lucky face on and was strolling so happily down the cobblestone
path. Picking up flowers
as she
came across them.
“Hey!”
Ash yelled to Misty from the top of the hill, waving his hands almost as if he
was crazy, “Hey! Over here!”
Misty
turned her head to see a figure waving frantically. And heard a distant, “Hey.”
She decided that if anybody
was
waving their arms like that they were probably in need of help, or crazy. So
she started heading towards the
location
of Ash.
Ash
saw Misty walking towards his position. This was when he was going to ask if
she was the real Misty. But,
if
she was a clone Ash didn’t expect Misty to say, if she was a clone or something
other than the real Misty, “I’m
a
clone!” Ash hoped this was the real Misty, he hoped that she was okay and that
she wasn’t crazy
or
something similar to that.
Hoped you enjoyed it. And please send
reviews, to tell me what you think of this “crazy” story, and things like that.
