98. True/False: Staru evolves into Starmie with experience.
‘False! I think. I’m not sure. No, it’s false…..but what if get it
wrong? What if I get all the questions wrong! I’ll never be able to look
my parents in the face again. No, don’t say that.’
Janelle typed false on the keyboard and the next question appeared.

99. When in battle with a water-type pokemon which of the following is
best to use?
A. Ground
B. Rock
C. Fire
D. Plant
‘Plant definitely!’

100. Snorlax can eat up to _______ lb in one sitting.
A. 9
B. 90
C. 900
D. 9000
‘This one is hard!! I should’ve studied harder!! OK ….calm down….9lb
is not enough and 9000lb is too much. So that leaves B and C.’
"30 seconds class"
‘Not much time! B or C! B or C! Oh…3 is my lucky number and C is the
3rd answer chose so C is my answer’
Janelle hit the C key just as the teacher called time and her computer
screen went blank. Janelle sighed and slumped into her chair. Across
from her Phillip Oak smiled warmly and mouthed "How’d you do?" "OK I think"
she mouthed back. Even though their dads had been fighting sense
childhood, Janelle and Phillip had been friends for as long as they could
remember.
It had only been a minute or so when the teacher cleared his throat for
attention. The class watched in silence as the teacher pushed a button and
two screens slide from the ceiling.
"To my right are the students that passed, to my left are the
students that need to repeat the course. If you passed be here bright and
early to get your pokedex and starting pokemon. Pokemon will be handed out
in a first come first serve fashion. The pokemon types available are fire,
water, grass, ground, and normal…" The teacher continued to talk about
retaking the course, but Janelle wasn’t listening. She slowly scanned the
pictures for the one of her. Suddenly she saw it in the upper left corner
of the right screen, she had passed!!! The teacher must have finished
because the other kids were leaving. Janelle grabbed her backpack; pulled
out her good luck charm, a pokeball she had found last week; and kissed it.
She decided to take the scenic route home, by way of the beach.
Maybe her pokeball would bring her more good luck.
