Yeah! I finally got out of
writers block! Now I’m up and writing again! Ok, I’ll get a move on.
Part Three: The Week After
It’s been a week since the
happy moment at the lake. But Ash and Misty were still reluctant to tell Ash’s
parents. Ash and Jeremy were in Ash’s room talking about things.
“…so then I was pulled out
of the river by none other than Misty!”
“I wish my first day was
that exciting.”
“The most exciting part was
when Pikachu blew up the
“But I thought it was when
you met Misty!” Jeremy made some kissy faces, and Ash
threw a pillow at him.
“Do you know where Brock is?”
Jeremy Suddenly asked
“I dunno,
probably hitting on May at Professor Oak’s Lab.” Ash let out a snort of
laughter.
“Why?”
“Don’t ask me. Dad what
would you think if Misty was my
girlfriend?”
Jeremy shrugged, but raised
his eyebrow.
“What are you implying, Dad?”
“Oh, nothing…” Jeremy said evilly
Ash sighed; he couldn’t bring
himself to tell his dad. In his heart he wanted to so badly, but he just couldn’t
He thought about it for a
second. Well, it was worth a try, but would Misty approve?
***
Misty flipped through the
channels. There was a bajillion channels and nothing
on.
She felt a hand upon her arm.
She turned around to see the smiling face of Delia.
“Can I ask you a question,
Misty dear?”
“You just did.”
“Well another one.”
“Yeah
sure.”
“I couldn’t help but
noticing, you and Ash haven’t fought in the last week, is something wrong?”
“Oh no, Delia, Ash and I
have just come to a temporary truce, that’s all.”
“Ok, that’s all I wanted to
know.” Delia walked into the kitchen to begin dinner.
Misty heard Ash bound down
the stairs, and yell
to his mom.
“I gonna
go for a walk, Ma, see ya soon!”
“Hey! Wait Ash! I’m coming
too, there’s nothing on TV.”
They both walked out of the
door.
Delia watched from the
window as the two teens walked down the road… hand-in-hand.
She knew it! They had gotten together!
But more proof came along as
it began to rain.
Ash and Misty had stopped
walking and kissed.
A deep voice came from
behind her.
“Are you seeing what I’m
seeing?”
“Absolutely, Jeremy,
absolutely…”
***
A couple of hours later, Ash
and Misty were sleeping peacefully in the hammock on the back porch.
“Ash…” Ash woke to the
sound. Ash’s brown eyes met with his fathers green ones.
Ash nearly jumped out of his
skin, but did manage to fall onto the porch, the crap scared out of him.
Ash blushed deeply, and
mumbled a “Thank you for that.”
Jeremy laughed.
Misty woke to his laugh.
She opened her eyes to see a
crimson Ash and Jeremy laughing is head off.
Misty blushed also, interpreting
what had happened.
They both made a run for it,
to avoid any further taunting.
They ran strait up to Ash’s
room.
Brock chose that moment to
come home.
“Why were those two running upstairs,
blushing like idiots?” Brock asked
“Long story, Brocko.” Jeremy
said, shaking his head.
“It goes like this…”
***
Ash and Misty spoke no
words. Ash’s dad said it all. He’d just found out.
“Well, we’d better face
facts, I’m doomed for a life of torture from my dad, and you’re doomed for a
life of torture from your sisters.”
“You could say that.”
They both sighed. This would
be tough, but they would find a way.
Ash and Misty leaned back
onto the bed.
They kissed one last time
before fatigue took over them and lured them to sleep…

Haha! There’s gonna be two or
three more parts to this story, so hang tight.
I’m not sure right now which
of my multiple part stories I’m gonna finish first,
most likely ‘Better Late Than Never’, that one’ll have
only two parts. Send me reviews!!!!
See ya!
