OK, so ‘In the End’ is not going so well. Don’t ask me why, I
just have major, major, major, writers block.
Lets get on with story…
Part two: Friendships Farewell
“Jeremy! You’re home! Ash come down!” with that Ash came downstairs.
Then he saw what all the commotion was about. His dad was home! He was about
half a foot taller than Delia, and wore black jeans and a blue shirt. “Dad!” Ash yelled, tackling him “Whoa, hold on there scout,
I know you’re exited to see me but, you don’t have to hug me so hard.” Jeremy
said gasping. When Ash released his hug, Jeremy kneeled down to his height and
told him “Man, you got big. What did your mom feed you? Well, why don’t you
leave your mother and I alone for a minute and go get
dressed, OK?” Ash smiled and nodded in approval, and skipped upstairs (Not
literally, mind you. Can you skip up stairs?).
*Up in Ash’s Room*
Ash almost jumped through the door he was so happy.
“Why are you so happy?” Misty asked
“My dads home!” Ash exclaimed
Before Misty had a chance to say anything Ash had gone into the
bathroom getting dressed.
Ash came out 30 seconds later fully dressed and ready. Misty
looked at him funny for the second time that day; I guess Ash must be really
funny today (-_-‘ cheesy, I know).
The next few days were fun for Ash. He got to battle his father,
He got teased a lot, because Jeremy liked the idea of
him liking Misty (Both Ash and Misty denied it though.). All of the events led
up to a night after a hard day of battling. Ash and Misty sat on the swinging
bench on Ash’s porch talking about things.
“…And that’s where my favorite spot in Cerulean is.” Misty said
“My favorite spot in Pallet is… It’s kinda hard to explain, so
follow me.” Ash spoke gesturing her to follow him.
Ash led Misty through the thick woods behind his house, until
they reached a beautiful lake.
“This is so beautiful!” Misty said, really quite amazed
“I know it is, that’s why it’s my
favorite place.” Ash said
“Ash.”
“Hmmm?”
“I have to tell you something.”
“You can tell me anything, uhh, except
your girly stuff.” Ash remarked, a slight bit of sarcasm in his voice.
“I…I l…love you.” Then Misty started to cry
“Shh, it’s Ok, Misty. If it’ll make
you feel any better, I feel the same way…”
Then ash felt something warm around his torso. Misty was hugging
him. He blushed at this. He turned her head to face his, and placed a gentle
kiss her lips. Excitement rushed through Misty’s body as Ash kissed her. They
both didn’t ever want it to end, but their kiss was broken by the voice of
Ash’s Mom “Ash! It’s time for dinner!”
“Guess we’d better go.” Ash spoke before bolting towards his
house.
Misty followed.
Both were very happy. They knew they’d be together forever.
