The gang is lurking in the bushes. “Alright there’s our target…Mr. Mime.” Said 
Anthony.
“MIME MIME!!”
“Alright now I go in for the kill right?” Asked Mike.
“…WHAT!? Now Michael you have to be gentle with Pokemon!” Amanda informed.
“Yeah first you have to battle it. Here use my Geodude.” Said Squeak.
“Thanks man…alright here we go…GEODUDE GO!!”
“Geoduuuude!!!!”
“Alright…Geodude…ROCKSLIDE!!”
“GEODUDE!!!!!”
“MIME!!!!” Mr. Mime went down relatively quickly.
“Huh…that was easy. POKEBALL GO!”
“HOLY CRAP!! WHAT DID YOU DO!?? Rockslide is a REALLY strong attack!!” Said 
Squeak.
“Well I have a Pokemon now!!”
“Well be more careful next time…” Said Amanda.

“Are you sure? I’ve beaten a few gym leaders before…”

After 5 minutes of ass kicking…
“I told you dude.” Said Anthony.

“Dude that’s not cool. The only reason you lost was because you are mean to your 
Pokemon…You have
To learn to be it’s friend!” Said Squeak.

“well guys I gotta get going…seeya.” Said Mike.
“Yeah me too. We’re having Angel Hair for dinner! YEAH!!” Said Squeak.
“Bye guys.” Said Anthony.

“Well don’t you have to go?” Anthony asked Amanda.
“No I can stay…why you don’t want me here?”
“No no…um…can I tell you something Amanda?”
“Sure go ahead.”
“uh…never mind.”
“…Kay. Um, Anthony do you want to go to a gym battle with me tomorrow?” Asked 
Amanda
“Yeah sure. I’ll ask Mike and Squeak if they want to come.”
“No I mean just you and me…”
“Wha--WHAT? You mean like a date?”
“Well…yeah…but between two friends.”
“Of--of course…alright I’ll go. So who are you battling?”
“Misty Waterflower…I can’t wait to kick her ass…”
“Yeah you’ll beat her…I know you will. But don’t you think you should use 
Pokemon other than your Mudkip? I mean she has loads of water Pokemon…”
“Of course! I’ll use your Pikachu and your  Ivysaur.”
“So THAT’S why you want me to come?!?”
“Of course not. Your one of my best friends…pleeeaaase??”
“aww…alright…but just because I can’t say no to that face.”
Amanda blushed.

“YYAAAAWWWNNN!!!! Good morning Charmander!”
(AN: FUNFACT: Anthony’s Charmander is VERY special. He’s not orange and 
yellow…HE’S RED and DARK RED!! Exiting huh?…no?…never mind then.)
“Char, char, charrr!!! (Yo man, don’t we have a “date” with Amanda today?)
“JESUS CRACKERS! I FORGOT!! We have to meet Amanda!! I’M LATE!!! GOTTA GET 
DRESSED!!!”
Anthony quickly got into his clothes, got his toque, and went right to Amanda’s 
house on his bike.
“IT’S ABOUT TIME YOU GOT HERE YOU IDIOT!! IT’S 10:30!! We were suppose to be 
there 10 minutes ago!” Amanda yelled.
“I know I know…let’s go. Charmander didn’t feel like getting in his Pokeball 
this morning so he’s riding with us too. Let’s go.”
“Fine…LET’S GOOOOO!!!!”

“It’s about time!! Alright ready to get this started?”
“Mm-hmm!” Amanda replied.
“Amanda!! It’s about time you got here!” Said a cheerful redhead.
“Oh…Misty…hi…” Said Amanda unhappily.
“I missed you!! You said you’d IM me!!…Oh…and who’s this?”
“Oh. Hi! My name--” Anthony was cut off.
“HIS NAME…is Anthony.” Amanda announced.
“Oh. Hello Anthony. You look familiar…have I seen you before?…” Asked Misty.
“Uh…yeah I think so. I won a badge from the blonde girl here. Remember 
Charmander?”
“OH COULD I FORGET THIS RED LITTLE CHARMANDER!! HI CHARMANDER!!”
“God I hate her so much…” Amanda whispered to Anthony. 
“Why?” Asked Anthony.
“Just wait.”
“So Amanda. He your boyfriend?”
“NO!! He’s just a really good friend…is all.” Said Amanda.
“Then you won’t mind if I hit on him?” Misty whispered to Amanda.
“….rrrr….fine. I don’t care!! GO AHEEEAAAD!!!” Amanda yelled angrily.
“Dude what are you girls talking about?” Asked Anthony.
“Oh…nothing. Say, after the gym battle what do you say you and I go out for a 
bite to eat?” Asked Misty.
“Oh…I don’t know…Amanda?”
“GO AHEAD!!! SEE IF I CARE!!” Yelled Amanda.
“…dude…I don’t think I should do that. I really don’t think this story should be 
a love story.”
“….What? Sshhh!! DON’T BREAK THE FOURTH WALL!!” Amanda yelled.
“Anyways…Why wont you go out with me? I’m beautiful, talented and very hot.”
“My heart belongs to someone else dude.” Said Anthony.
“YEAH LEAVE HIM ALONE!!” Yelled Amanda.
“I’ll fight you for him bitch!!” Yelled Misty.
“FINE!!”
“um…do I get a say in this?” Asked Anthony meekly.
“NO!” They both replied.
“Now…Anthony’s Pikachu…I CHOOSE YOU!!” Commanded Amanda.
“Uh oh…an electric Pokemon…I know! Quagmire! I choose you!”
