Well, this is my first shot at making a fanfic..please be nice to me, okeday? This idea just kinda came to me someone and one of my cousins who writes stories here, Persian told me to post it here so...what the hell...what do I got to lose? *sees people ready to throw rotten tomatos at her* *gulps nervously* *grabs a shield just in case* *opens an umbrella just in case as well* Anyway....

Prolouge
How it all began..

Ash Ketchum stood on his trainer square ready to continue the battle. He was no longer a little ten year old boy, but a fifteen year old teenager. His loyal friends, Misty and Brock sit in the audience to watch their friend's fate. Ash was battling the leader of the Johto League..if Ash won this battle he would become the Pokémon Master, his number one goal in life. So far the battle was intense. Lance (I don't know if he's the real leader of the Johto League but this is the only guy I could think of) stood on his trainer square with a smirk on his face. Ash gave that guy he normally confidence and arrogent grin. Pikachu tried a battle pose by Ash's leg. Lance threw a PokéBall in the arena and his faithful red Gyarados poped out and roared. Pikachu ran into the arena and growled at the Gyarados. The Gyarados just gave the little flash rat an evil grin and roared. Pikachu gulped nervously but gritted his teeth knowing he had to battle.
"Let the battle begin!" screamed out the referre.
"Gyarados, start things off with a Dragon Rage."
"Pikachu Agility now!"
Both Pokémon nodded at their masters' orders. Gyarados took a deep breath and then breathed out a green flame. Pikachu ran away from the flames and hopped from one place to another with Agility. Gyarados snarled and continued trying to hit the Pikachu with the Dragon Rage. The flames were getting closer and closer to our favorite little mouse.
"I know what can stop that rodent, Gyarados, give him a Tackle."
"Pikachu, jump on the Gyarados's head then use Thunderbolt."
Gyarados didn't waste any time. He slithered towards Pikachu as fast as he can. Before he could make contact with Pikachu, he jumped on the mighty dragon's head and used a powerful Thunderbolt. The Gyarados roared in pain then crashed on the ground KOed.
"Gyarados is defeated! Pikachu wins!" said the referre.
"YAY ASH!!!" screamed Misty as she stood up.
Brock looked at Misty like she was crazy. Misty sat back down embarassed since everyone around them was looking at her. Pikachu was breathing heavily after that tough battle. Lance recalled his huge Gyarados and took out another Pokéball from his belt.
"That was good Ash, but you won't defeat my Charizard!"
Lance threw the Pokéball on the ground and a huge Charizard appeared. The Charizard roared and made the flames on his tail flare up. Ash called his little mouse back to take a rest. Then Ash took a PokéBall out and threw it in the arena. The Pokéball opened and a Feraligatr appeared.
"Feraligatr Water Gun!"
"Fly away!"
The Feraligatr took in a deep breath then let out a water gun. The Charizard quickly leaped in the air and began flying.
"Swoop down and give him a Seismic Toss Charizard."
"Quick Feraligatr, Slash him when he gets near!"
Charizard didn't waste time. He swooped down and prepared to grab onto the alligator with his claws. The Feraligatr quickly extended his claws and slashed the Charizard's face before he could grab him. The Charizard roared in pain but still grabbed onto the Feraligatr and began whirling around in the air. As the Charizard prepared to throw the Feraligatr to the ground. Ash screamed out an order for the mighty Pokémon.
"Aim a Hydro Pump in his face!"
Feraligatr opened his eyes and sprayed the mighty Water Attack in the lizard's face. Charizard roared and let go of Feraligatr. Everyone gasped thinking the alligator was gonna be destroyed, but surprisingly, he landed on his feet and grinned evily at the Charizard. The lizard crashed on the ground really hurt from the Water-Type attack. Charizard slowly got on his feet, but then fell to the ground KOed.
"Charizard is defeated! Feraligatr wins!" said the referre.
"YEAH!!!!!!!" cheered Misty.
Once again Misty got embarassed for screaming. (Poor Misty XD)
"You're doing very well young man. But don't expect victory!" said Lance.
Lance threw out his last Pokémon and a huge Dragonite appeared. Everyone gulped nervously knowing that Dragonite was his strongest Pokémon. Ash just grinned thinking this as a good challenge. (Typical Ash XD)
"This will be easy! Feraligatr use Ice Beam!"
"Dragonite, stop it with Fire Blast!"
Feraligatr opened his huge jaw and a small bright blue ball appeared. The ball turned into a mighty Ice Beam. Surprisingly, the Dragonite made the firey hazard, Fire Blast come out of his mouth. The Fire and Ice collided and the ice disappeared. Thus the fire attack smacked hard into Feraligatr. Feraligatr extended his claws and roared.
"I'll destory that thing..Thunder Dragonite!"
"Try another Ice Beam!"
Feraligatr began to prepare the ice attack but before anything could happen the alligator was zapped by the awesome power of the Dragonite's Thunder attack. Feraligatr crashed on the ground KOed.
"Feraligatr is defeated! Dragonite wins!" said the referre.
"Return Feraligatr. Go Tyranitar!"
Ash recalled his Feraligatr and let out a huge powerful Tyranitar. The Tyranitar roared out loud..the Dragonite just smirked.
"Hm..nice choice Ash..Dragonite give him a Dynamic Punch!"
"Freeze his fist with an Ice Beam!"
Dragonite pulled his fist back. Just before the powerful dragon would punch out Tyranitar he let out a powerful Ice Beam. Just as Ash wanted, the fist was frozen thus he couldn't punch Tyranitar.
"Ugh...Dragonite use a Flamethrower to put out the ice!"
"Take advantage of that Tyranitar, use a Crunch."
Dragonite let out a tiny flame on his frozen fist and it slowly began to melt. While he was busy with this, Tyranitar grabbed the Dragonite's tail and bite hard into it. Dragonite let out a painful cry and clinged onto his bloody tail. Tyranitar grinned evily. Dragonite was REALLY pissed off and weak now. Lance could see how mad his Dragonite was..he had an idea..
"Use an Outrage Dragonite!"
"Use a Blizard to finish it off Tyranitar!"
Tyranitar began to prepare his almighty Blizzard attack but before he could, Dragonite glowed bright green. Soon a powerful beam appeared out of nowhere and smacked hard into Tyranitar. He let out a horrible scream then crashed on the ground KOed.
"Tyranitar is defeated! Dragonite wins!" said the referre.
It was now when all seemed lost and hope had faded that Pikachu stepped on the arena and growled at the Dragonite. Dragonite was about to burst out laughing.
"This is too easy..Dragonite Hyper Beam!"
Dragonite made a bright white ball appear in his mouth. He fired out an EXTREMELY powerful Hyper Beam at the Pikachu. Pikachu quickly dodged it with an Agility. Dragonite was really getting tired from all this battling.
"It's worn out Pikachu, win the battle with a Thunder Attack!"
Pikachu leaped in the air and soon let out a huge Thunder. The Dragonite was zapped fast and hard. Smoke filled the air, dust surrouded the arena.. When the smoke and dust cleared the Dragonite was seen laying on the ground KOed.
"DRAGONITE!!!!!" screamed Lance.
"Dragonite is defeated! Pikachu wins! The winner of this battle is Ash Ketchum!" said the referre. (He doesn't say a lot does he?)
Ash just couldn't believe it..his life long dream has come true. Misty was just too happy for words. Brock on the other hand just saw an Officer Jenny and ran out to greet her. (How Typical -.-;;) Pikachu ran over to Ash and gave him a hug. Ash had one of the happiest faces ever on. Everyone went over to congratulate Ash on his victory.

Later that night, his mother hosted a little party for Ash's victory. Everyone from Pallet Town was invited. Ash was seen by the snack table, while Brock tried flirting with all the town girls. Misty was sitting at a table by herself. She knew that now because Ash was a Pokémon Master they would split up..she knew she would probably never see Ash again after tonight. Just then Ash sat in a seat near her with a plate filled with food.
"They have a great snack table, want something?" Ash offered.
"No thanks, I'm not hungry." Misty replied.
"Okay, more for me." laughed Ash as he began to dive in.
Misty rolled her eyes a bit at him and sweatdropped. She remembered that some boys will never change. (So True XD;;)
"Um..Ash.." studdered Misty.
"Yeah?" asked Ash.
"Um...do you think this is it?" asked Misty.
"What do you mean?" Ash asks.
"Well..now that you're a Pokémon Master the journey is over..." Misty sighed.
"Oh...yeah.." Ash realized.
"So..this is probably goodbye.." Misty said looking sad.
"...I guess so.." Ash says sadly.
"Do you think we'll ever see each other again?" asks Misty.
"Probably." said Ash.
Misty smiled at Ash..she knew he was lying..the truth was they would probably never see each other again (*cough*yeahright*cough*) Ash went back to eating. He took a deep breath then picked up one of the rolls he got. Ash turned over to Misty who looked really sad.
"Want one?" offered Ash.
"Uh..sure.." Misty said.
This was a shocker..Ash NEVER was willing to give her any of his food. (Before he suggested she go to the snack table..he didn't offer her any of his food) She slowly began to eat the bread. She took another deep breath and hesitated to ask this question.
"Ash...what do you think about me?" asks Misty.
Ash nearly choked on his food. He didn't expect that question to pop up. He was a bit nervous..he kinda studdered a bit.
"Er...um....uh....eh.....excuse me.." Ash cowered.
Ash grabbed his plate and walked off. Misty felt heartbroken. She stared at the ground as her eyes filled with tears.
"Wow..I never thought he hated me that much..He would never just run off like that..maybe he won't miss me at all when I leave..should've known no one would ever be able to love me..I feel like such an idiot..."
Misty let out another sigh then got out of her chair and walked out of the party. Ash on the other hand was in the bathroom (Only place to get privacy at the moment).
"Okay..I have to tell her now..but where do I start? You don't just walk up to a girl and say "Hey Misty guess what? I love you. Ugh..she'll never believe me..I guess I gotta try..."
Ash slowly opened the door and walked out. He looked around the place for Misty but found no trace of her. Finally, he decided to ask someone. He walked up to his mother who was getting a little bit of food from the snack table.
"Hi sweetie! How's my Pokémon Master?" asks Delia.
"Fine Fine..listen..have you seen Misty?" asks Ash.
"Oh..I saw her leave about an hour ago.." answered Delia.
".........what?" replied Ash.
"She looked upset..I asked her what was wrong and she didn't say a word." Delia said.
Ash sighed and sat in the chair. He laid his elbows on the table and just stared at everyone having fun. The worse part was..he KNEW what bothered Misty..when he didn't answer her question it must've hurt her feelings..
"What have I done? I hate myself..I'll never see her again now...."
