"Pikachu!" I wanted to do this for since last night! Peppermint cried as she shocked Squall from his sleep. Fruity landed on the other side of the room as Squall bolted up.

"What the heck did I do?" he growled.

"Shut it Baboon, there are some people trying to sleep you know…" Bayline mumbled. Coco giggled.

"Yes, but you two seemed to have forgotten it’s Christmas morning," Coco mentioned. Bayline was out of bed in a flash with Honey hot on her heels.

"I completely forgotten! C’mon Fruity!" Squall shouted as they followed Bayline out the door, soon followed by Coco with Peppermint on her shoulder.

"I wonder what you got Peppermint," Coco said to her pikachu. Peppermint then remembered last night.

"Pikachu pika pi pi pikachu pika!" Last night I saw Santa Claus and he gave me a ride to Cinnabar and explained to me that Moyia was deep under an abandoned warehouse with really stupid Rockets guarding her! Peppermint explained in one breath. Coco stared at her.

"Take a breather girl," Coco said to her as they ran over to the tree. The three heard the adults waking up, also the pokemon downstairs made a lot of racket.

"Do you think their presents are downstairs?" Coco asked Peppermint, Peppermint shrugged.

"Pikachu pika," The whole time when I saw him come down the chimney he never set a foot downstairs, but now that you mention it I did see his right glove glow. Peppermint explained.

"All well, let’s open our presents!" Coco cried gleefully as she handed Peppermint’s gift to her and found one for her and began opening it.

Then the creaking of the steps indicated that the adults were coming down.

"Its about time Snoozers!" Squall shouted as he threw a box at his dad, who caught it.

"Sorry, but it’s thanks to the pokemon downstairs is why we woke up," Cindy said. Sadie flew up from the basement and landed on her trainer’s shoulder, with a rope bird toy clutched in her beak.

By eight o’ clock, everyone has opened their presents and the pokemon were partying downstairs happily. Coco and Bayline received poke’dolls like jigglypuff, pikachu, bulbasaur, charmander, and weedle. Squall received a mess kit and three colorful poke’balls. Peppermint loved her new rubber, blue bow that was tied around her ear by Coco. Fruity received Plant Health Gel, which says that it makes Grass pokemon shine and add protein and other vitamins to their skin and other plant accessories. Honey got her own grooming kit and is enjoying her time with Bayline now.

"Breakfast is ready!" Caroline shouted, Cindy was helping her with the food as well. Coco, Bayline, Squall, Dawn, Dale, and Salem had to deliver pokemon food downstairs before they could eat. After the humans ate, the pokemon were returned to their poke’balls and Coco, Bayline, and Squall bid their farewells.

"I’m sure Cassie will agree Mom," Coco said to her mother as Cindy, Dale, and Salem said bye as well and climbed into their car.

"Bye Squally!" Cindy cried as they drove out of the town, leaving a red Squall behind.

"You three be careful now, all right?" Caroline said.

"But before you go, can I talk to Coco real quick?" Dawn asked.

‘Sure Dad, here, take Peppermint for a moment will you?" Coco asked as she handed Squall Peppermint, she began sparking.

"What is it Dad?" Coco asked as they went into the house.

"I just wanted to ask you about your unnatural behavior," Dawn began, "I saw you talking to the other pokemon at the night of the party and they seemed to have understood you completely. You were also talking like a pikachu," Coco was flabbergasted.

"Uh yeah, I just do that for laughs…" she stopped lying as she saw that her dad didn’t believe her. "Oh all right, I speak Pokemon, because of Moyia,"

"Who’s Moyia?" Dawn asked.

"I’ll tell you if you only promise not to tell anyone," Coco growled.

"All right," he told her.

"Promise?" she asked. He nodded.

"Okay, it all started…" Coco explained when she got the orb and how Moyia was kidnapped, but skipped the whole Bayline incident.

"So you have the ability to speak pokemon, you’ve got a nice future ahead of you, so don’t spoil it all right?" Coco nodded with a smile. "Okay, go on with your friends to Cassie and don’t get into any trouble now,"

"Thanks Dad, bye!" Coco said as she ran out the door and past her mother to her friends.

"Bye Honey!" Caroline shouted to her daughter as the three ran on to the beach.

"That was a nice break," Squall said as they slowed to a walk as they saw a sleeping Cassie at the shore.

"Yeah I know," Coco said back as she ran up to Cassie and woke her up. "Would you mind giving us a ride to Cinnabar?" Cassie yawned, but shook her head.

"Thanks Cassie, come on you two!" Coco shouted to her friends. Bayline and Squall climbed on; Peppermint got on Cassie’s head next to her horn.

"Are you guys ready?" Coco asked, Squall and Bayline nodded, but Bayline looked a little green. "All right Bay?"

"I’m fine, it’s just that I’m a Silverson and we don’t feel very comfortable near the water, and I also get seasick easily." Bayline explained.

"Well, just vomit over the side when you need to, now! Onto Cinnabar Cassie!" Coco said to the lapras. She nodded and began at a fast speed south of Pallet.

"So Moyia and the Rockets are under an abandoned warehouse?" Coco asked. Peppermint nodded, but mentioned a volcano next to it.

"How does Peppermint know about her location?" Bayline asked.

"She had a dream that seems likely," Coco said quickly.

"Okay…" Bayline growled as she turned a deeper shade of green. Squall’s eyes widened when Peppermint began sparking again, but it wasn’t because of him. Coco gasped, a huge storm cloud was approaching fast. Lightning flashes came and thunder boomed. Bayline vomited right before an unusually rough wave caught Cassie.

"Swim harder and a darn lot faster!" Squall yelled. Cassie’s eyes narrowed as she did her best against the raging storm.

"Oh my!" Rougher waves came, bigger each time. Cassie was jumping out of the water and splashing back in, it began to rain.

"This is going to be more trouble then we thought if we get off course!" Coco shouted as she grabbed a shell spike, Squall and Bayline did the same thing. Peppermint grabbed Cassie’s horn.

"There’s no choice but to go under water!" Squall yelled. The storm roared on. Cassie flung out of the water and dove into it this time and went deeper in the ocean.

All we need to do is find the underwater current going towards Cinnabar and flow towards it with that, we should pass the storm that way easily! Coco thought as something pushed them. It was the underwater current that would take them to Cinnabar! Only one problem, I need some air! She tapped Cassie and she nodded and went for the surface.

When they broke the surface, they were still in the storm and everyone gasped for oxygen.

"Everyone take a deep breath and Cassie will go down one more time and we’ll be at Cinnabar!" Coco yelled as she took a deep breath. Cassie dove in the water again and swam along with the current again. Everyone tried to hold their breath, but Peppermint was smaller and needed more air then them.

Just hold in there Pepper! Coco thought as they went towards the surface the last time.

Hurry Cassie! All three pokemon trainers thought as they broke the surface.

"Peppermint! Are you all right!" Coco asked her pikachu.

"Pika!" I’m fine! Peppermint answered, but she stared ahead of them. The water was calm again and they were sailing smoothly.

"What is it Peppermint?" Bayline asked. Peppermint pointed ahead of them and began sparking. Cinnabar Island was dead ahead.

"Well guys, it’s time to free Moyia and get nature back to normal!" Coco said, the Trainer Triad nodded as they landed on the shore.

Now it’s the first major conflict for the Golden Sun Series! Watch out for it!
