"Ow…that wasn’t what I would call a comfy feeling," Coco growled as she rubbed her head. She was knocked out when the net carried her away and woke up inside a cage big enough for an arcanine. Her poke’balls and backpack were gone, she looked around, it was dark, all she could see was the bars of the cage.

"Team Shadow! I know its you!" Coco shouted, the lights flickered on.

"So, you know who we are, I doubt you knew that for a while." A man in a black lab coat stood before her with orange hair and a short beard and piercing green eyes. "My name is Romanko Creever, Captain Creever to you,"

"Where are my pokemon?" Coco asked harshly, standing up and squeezing the bars in front of her.

"You need no concern for them at this point, unfortunately, we needed Versett as well, and you somehow got caught without her." Captain Creever answered with a wicked smile.

"Why do you need me and Versett?" Coco asked.

"That is for me to know and you to be oblivious to, we also know Ho-oh’s son, Golden Sun is your Pokemon Guardian,"

"Pokemon Guardian?" Coco mumbled.

"Yes, only the chosen ones of this world have legendary creatures as their guides, not all of them are discovered to others besides those they guard. But you were unlucky enough to have someone like us spot Golden Sun." Captain Creever explained.

"I don’t care if you spotted Golden Sun, it’s just another reason to tear you from limb to limb, just give me back my pokemon and I’ll promise not to have Golden Sun track you down!" Coco yelled.

"That won’t be necessary, as long as we have you as hostage, there’s no way it can harm us in any way possible," Captain Creever laughed, Coco growled.

Versett, Squall, and Bayline sat, staring up at the sky, thinking of what they probably could do. Peppermint was further up ahead of them and was much more sorrowful.

"We’ll get her back Pepper," Bayline said, spotting her.

"Pi…" Peppermint squeaked, she stared at the ground.

"I wonder what happened to Coco by now?" Versett mumbled, Squall and Bayline winced. They hoped the answer to that was good. But they would never know for sure if they didn’t find her, and fast.

"All right, enough waiting! Go! Arrow!" Versett stood up and released her bird pokemon.

"Piddg!" Arrow cried.

"Arrow, I need you to look everywhere for Coco, she can be found if you spot anything to do with Team Shadow, remember?" Versett asked, Arrow nodded. "Bring back proof that you found them, now go!"

"Jenta can help as well!" Bayline said, releasing her butterfree.

"Pretty butterfree," Versett complemented.

"Thanks, but anyway, find Coco, she’s somewhere with a team called Team Shadow, it must look somewhat similar like Team Rocket’s!" Bayline explained, Jenta nodded and flew in the opposite direction of Arrow.

"I hope they find something," Squall muttered. Versett and Bayline nodded. Peppermint stared out at the forest.

"Stupid Team Shadow," Coco growled, Captain Creever was gone for the moment, Coco already scanned the room for her pokemon. But didn’t see anything that was her’s. She was in some kind of lab, pokemon DNA was in jars and some parts made her sick.

Hopefully Golden Sun won’t come, if he does, then they can capture him! Coco thought.

"Gastley!" Coco! Where are you? Moonshine shouted, the three pokemon were in cages themselves. Firestorm was in a glass cage with small air holes at the top, to make sure she could burn through anything. Minoru was in a normal, steel cage where no Grass attacks can break through. Moonshine was in an energy cage, preventing her from vanishing and reappearing somewhere else.

"Charmeleon," She’s not here, but do any of you have a feeling that’s too eerie to explain? Firestorm asked.

"Bulba," Yeah, I know what you mean, Minoru answered.

"Gas?" Do you two know where Peppermint is? Moonshine asked, they both shook their heads.

"Charmeleon char char charr," We’ve got to get out of here, think of anything that might penetrate one of our cages and let the other two out. Firestorm said.

"Gastley!" I have an idea! Watch! Moonshine’s eyes glowed red, the buttons on the control panel that held them in cages suddenly began to press themselves in, levers dropped up and down and wire broke off their plugs. Moonshine’s cage burst into light; Minoru’s cage opened and would have made a loud clang if he didn’t catch it with a vine. Firestorm’s cage shattered and she leaped out. Firestorm spotted Coco’s backpack and grabbed it.

"Charmeleon!" It’s not normal for a ghost to learn Confusion, they never expected it, but anyway, let’s get out of here before they find out we’ve escaped! Moonshine, search for Coco! Firestorm commanded, Moonshine nodded then vanished.

"Char," Come on, Firestorm opened the door with her claws and walked out, Minoru close behind.

"I wonder if my pokemon are okay?" Coco asked herself, she was sitting in a corner of the cage, playing with her thumbs.

"Gastley!" I found you Coco! Coco snapped her eyes open and looked up, no one was there.

"Must be my imagination," Coco mumbled. Bang! She looked up and suddenly stood. Firestorm, Minoru, and Moonshine were in the door; Firestorm obviously broke the door down and began burning her cage’s door. Next, Moonshine licked the burning lock; it cooled, surprising Coco because it didn’t seem to effect her. Then Minoru tackled the lock, it broke off and the door swung open.

"Great work you three!" Coco said as she walked out of the cage and Firestorm handed her backpack to her. "Thanks,"

"How did you get out?" It was Captain Creever; he pressed a red button next to the door. The room and the halls blinked red, a siren went off.

"Use Flamethrower!" Coco shouted, Firestorm flamed the captain and they ran out the door.

"Moonshine! Look for an exit!" Coco ordered, Moonshine vanished.

"What happened when you were released out of your poke’balls?" Coco asked Firestorm and Minoru, who were running behind her.

"Charmeleon!" We have no idea! One moment we were in a poke’ball, then we were in cages to prevent our own powers. Only Moonshine’s powers could work! They didn’t expect a gastley to use Confusion now did they? Firestorm explained.

"Guess not!" Coco shouted, they stopped at the end of a hallway, one door was on their left and right. They heard a couple of Team Shadow members rush at them.

"How did you get out?" they turned around and saw two ninja-like characters, Team Shadow was an organization of evil ninjas!

"You guys are ninjas?" Coco asked.

"What does it matter to you! Go! Arbok!" The woman ninja cried, throwing a purple-top poke’ball.

"Go! Golbat!" The man ninja shouted, throwing another purple poke’ball.

"Chaarrbok bok!" The arbok hissed, the bat hovered next to it. Coco got out Dexter.

"Arbok, the Cobra Pokemon," Dexter beeped, "Golbat, the Vampire Bat pokemon,"

"Arbok is rumored that the ferocious warning markings on its belly differ from area to area." Dexter beeped. "Once Golbat strikes, it will not stop draining energy from the victim even if it gets to heavy to fly." Coco put Dexter away.

"Golbat! Super Sonic!" The man shouted. Moonshine reappeared, but before she could say anything, she was in battle.

"Hurry and use Hypnosis Moonshine!" Coco shouted, Moonshine’s Hypnosis waves reached Golbat faster then its Super Sonic, it began to get drowsy.

"Arbok! Use Wrap on that bulbasaur!" The woman ordered.

"Charbok!" Arbok hissed as it lunged its body around Minoru. Minoru was gasping for breath.

"Minoru! Use Leech Seed!" Coco shouted. "Firestorm! Use Flamethrower on Golbat before it can attack!" Minoru’s seed embedded itself one of Arbok’s teeth since it had it’s mouth wide open and the vines from the seed wrapped around its head. The arbok unwrapped itself from Minoru in pain and confusion. Firestorm flamed the golbat, but it wasn’t done yet.

"Golbat! Use Wing Attack on that charmeleon!" the man commanded. The golbat swung its wing into Firestorm, sending her to the ground, with a bruise on her shoulder and neck where it hit her; she got to her feet quickly.

"Use Scratch!" Coco ordered, Firestorm lunged at Golbat with flailing claws. Golbat’s face was covered in bloody and shallow scrapes; it was sweating and panting.

"Arbok! Use Poison Sting on the gastley!" the woman shouted.

"Dodge and then use Confusion on both pokemon!" Coco yelled.

"CONFUSION!!!" The two ninjas gasped, Moonshine dodged the attack and then her eyes glowed, both pokemon were surrounded by blue aura and lifted into the air. Moonshine finally sent them into their trainers and into a wall. All four were knocked out for the moment.

"All right, where’s that exit Moon?" Coco asked.

"Gastley!" Follow me! But be ready to battle, ninjas are everywhere! Moonshine warned as she flew ahead of her. Coco, Firestorm, and Minoru followed.

"We must be in some kind of aircraft," Coco said.

"Gastley gas," We’re in a base fifteen meters under ground, Moonshine corrected.

"Fifteen meters? How are we suppose to get to the top?" Coco asked.

"Gastley," There’s an elevator somewhere down here that I found, hopefully there are only a few Ninjas, Moonshine growled. That’s when another Ninja appeared and released a zubat.

"Use Flamethrower on both of them Firestorm!" Coco ordered. Firestorm flamed the zubat and Ninja, both fainted. The four ran pat the two. (Or in Moonshine’s case; flew)

"Hold it!" Another Ninja appeared.

"Use Vine Whip Minoru!" Coco shouted before the Ninja would release his or her pokemon. Minoru knocked the Ninja aside and they went on.

"Gas!" Nearly there! Moonshine said. When they came into a large room, they spotted a double-door entrance, it was the elevator. Before she could take a step, four shurikens whizzed past her, missing her purposely. Three Ninjas appeared out of the shadows from behind something.

"These shurikens points are filled with poison, and we are very accurate." One ninja said.

"So am I! Moonshine! Use Lick to paralyze them!" Coco yelled, Moonshine only got one before the other two seemed to melt away in the darkness.

"Use Flamethrower to any place that’s dark Firestorm!" Coco commanded, Firestorm’s Flamethrower lit up every spot, they saw one of the Ninja’s flamed and land on the floor unconscious.

"You cannot find me," the last one laughed. Her voice seemed to be coming from all directions.

"Find that ninja Moonshine!" Coco said, Moonshine nodded and vanished. "And when you do! Use Confusion!" A slight clashing came from above, the three looked up. Moonshine reappeared.

"Gastley," She is not anywhere in this room, she said.

"Fine, let’s hurry up and get back to ground level," Coco said as they went into the elevator after opening it. The doors closed and the elevator went up.

"Piddgg," Arrow crowed as he flapped his wings again, looking down at the land. Bushes and trees rustled, they were too tall at this point and Arrow had a hard time seeing anyone.

"Arrow!" He stopped and hovered, looking around.

"Arrow!" the voice came again. Arrow looked down and saw Coco separating bushes to get through the thickness.

"Pidget!" Arrow crowed happily, hovering in front of her.

"You guys did great, return!" Coco said, returning Firestorm, Moonshine, and Minoru to their balls, "Lead the way back to Versett Arrow," Coco said, Arrow nodded and flew back the way it came, Coco followed with great difficulty.

"Butterfree!" Jenta came back, shaking her head.

"You did fine, thank you anyway," Bayline said, returning her to her ball. The three trainers looked around, with much concern in their hearts.

"Why would anyone want to kidnap us in the first place?" Bayline asked the two.

"Who knows, but I think they were after one of us, or maybe all of us," Versett said.

"How would you know?" Bayline asked.

"Just think about it Baby, the net launch towards me and you, either they must have known Coco would have shoved us away and capture her or they could have caught us all." Squall explained, as he patted Peppermint on the head.

"Pi!" Peppermint squealed at the touch.

"Oh, sorry Pepper, I just thought it comforted you since I see Coco do it." Squall told the pikachu.

"Pikachu," Peppermint’s ears drooped again, then perked back up. "Pika!" They looked up; it was Arrow with a look of triumphant on his face.

"Hey! Long time no see!" It was Coco.

"Great job Arrow!" Versett shouted as Coco ran up to them, Arrow perched himself on Versett’s right shoulder.

"Pika pi!" How did you get out? What happened? Peppermint asked quickly as she leaped into Coco's arms.

"Coco! You’re safe!" Bayline cried as she and Squall ran up to her.

"Yep, and it was all thanks to my pokemon, they did excellent teamwork." Coco said.

"So tell me, was it Team Shadow?" Versett asked.

"No doubt, the mastermind behind my kidnapping was Romanko Creever," Coco explained, "And the fact is, he was after me and Versett for who knows what."

"They’re after you two? Why?" Squall and Bayline chorused, they looked at each other and glared.

"I have a hunch, but it’s only true for me, not sure about Versett. Creever said they wanted to get their hands on Golden Sun." Coco said.

"Who’s Golden Sun?" Versett asked.

"Coco’s so-called Pokemon Guardian," Bayline answered. "He’s Ho-oh’s son,"

"Hey, I heard about him from the boy that came from Lavender Town and received the bulbasaur," Versett said, "His name is Asher Cauttssom, he said something about Golden Sun taking a big part in pokemon ceremonies when the time of parting life comes. He says that whomever Golden Sun guides and protects has a great sense of justice and great sympathy for those who need it." Squall and Bayline looked at Coco, who blushed.

"So, what about Asher, where is he?" Squall asked.

"Who knows, I last saw him leaving Pallet. But anyhow, why would they want me?" Versett asked Coco, she shrugged.

"Who knows," Maybe it’s because she has a Pokemon Guardian too and isn’t consciously aware of it… Coco thought to herself.

"Well, it nearly eight O’ clock P.M. I’ll camp out with you then we can resume our journeys tomorrow," Versett said, pulling up her sleeve and looking at a watch.

"All right, let’s have the pokemon stretch before we eat, Coco makes great roasted apples." Bayline said.

"All right, come on out everybody!" Versett shouted, the other three did as well.

By sunset, five large bowls were set out. Pokemon were around each one and the trainers were eating a little away from them, mostly because Tsunami and Firestorm didn’t finish their battle and were throwing daggers at one another (Not literally ^_^;;).

"Time to go to sleep guys!" Coco said, the four returned their pokemon and unrolled their sleeping bags.

"Night!" Squall said, sleeping next to Coco, Versett slept on Coco’s other side and Bayline was next to Versett. Peppermint fell asleep next to Coco’s head.

After breakfast the next morning, they packed up and the Trainer Triad began their farewell to Versett.

"We’ll finish our match in the Indigo Plateau," Coco said, "By then, we’ll be at our best."

"Yeah, I’ll see you then," Versett said with a wink before turning around, the Trainer Triad did the same.

"Bye!" They shouted to her, she waved back.

"So, do you think she has a Pokemon Guardian?" Squall asked Coco. Peppermint sat on her backpack.

"Probably, but she would have mentioned it." Coco said. Peppermint saw a small hint of gold in the sky.

"Maybe she hasn’t been in deep enough trouble for her guardian to do anything about," Bayline suggested.

"Maybe," Coco sighed. Golden Sun’s golden body flowed with the wind behind the Trainer Triad, only Peppermint saw him, when she waved, he disappeared behind a cloud and didn’t remerge from the other side.

"Pi?" Peppermint muttered.

"What is it Pepper?" Coco asked, Peppermint shook her head and went back to staring up at the sky. Something gave her a bad feeling when she saw Golden Sun, did it have something to do with yesterday?

"Prepare you three, because soon, we will meet you and your guardians," A man in the shadows, sitting in an armchair with a persian at his side. Several Rockets lined up in front of him; ninjas sprayed the walls with their bodies, armed with shurikens as the Rockets were armed with guns.

"Our plan will take place soon Giovanni," The boss of Team Shadow with an arbok next to him smiled. Giovanni smiled along with him.

"Excellent," Giovanni’s voice dripped with venom and pure desire. The boss of Team Shadow’s eyes gave the same loathing and desire.

"This will be a most joyful chase before the kill." The TS boss said. Giovanni chuckled with agreement.

Pokemon Amber and Blue Shadow & Red Inferno are going to be on hold for a while, but anyway, review!
