"Did you hear that?" Coco asked, Squall, Peppermint, and Bayline nodded. Moonshine grinned.

"GHASTLEY!" Where are you Torch! It’s me! Moonshine! Moonshine shouted. The barking became louder.

"His name was Torch right?" Squall asked. Coco nodded. Peppermint sparked, then, an angry pokemon appeared. Snarling and baring its teeth. A growlithe! Moonshine stared at it, it was Torch!

"What’s wrong with Torch?" Bayline asked Moonshine, Moonshine’s smile was now upside-down. All of them knew she had no clue either.

"Fine then! We’ll cool that fiery canine down with Hypnosis!" Coco shouted. Moonshine didn’t budge, "Umm, Moonshine? In order to win this battle before he attacks us is to attack him first," Coco said sarcastically. Moonshine shook her head.

"Don’t worry Coco!" Bayline shouted, unsnapping a poke’ball. "Go! Jenta!"

"Befreee," Jenta cried.

"Jenta! Use Sleep Powder on the growlithe!" Bayline shouted. Just before an Ember attack, Torch was snoozing.

"Go on Squall, catch it," Coco said to Squall, "It’s your turn,"

"WHAT!?! WHEN DID WE START TAKING TURNS!" Bayline growled loudly.

"Since he only had two pokemon," Coco answered quietly as Squall took out an empty ball.

"Go! Poke’ball!" Squall shouted, throwing the ball. The ball hit Torch and sucked him in. The ball wiggled, wiggled, then Ding! Squall picked it up.

"I still don’t see why he got to catch Torch," Bayline growled. Coco sighed.

"Pika pi!" Release him again! Peppermint commanded. Coco translated.

"Why?" Squall asked, receiving a shock. "Fine…" He released Torch. Torch was awake now, but wasn’t as ferocious as before.

"Pika!" I see something behind his ear! Look! Peppermint pointed at something behind Torch’s ear. Squall went to investigate.

"Yep, there’s something here. A broken, electric pad," Squall said, peeling off a small machine pad that had a crack run through something that looked somewhat like a reflector.

"Do you think it was controlling Torch?" Coco asked. Squall nodded as Moonshine had a friendly chat with Torch. Torch barked back with happiness. He didn’t seem to remember anything.

"You did great Jenta, return!" Bayline said, returning Jenta to her ball.

"Torch! Are you okay?" Squall asked, Torch nodded. "All right, my name is Squall, and that’s Coco, and that’s Baby Bayline, welcome to the team."

"Shut it Baboon!" Bayline growled.

CRASH! CRASH! CRASH! The rocks behind them tumbled down when another tremor came, they were trapped!

"Oh great! RUN!" Coco shouted as more boulders fell towards them.

"Growl!" Follow me! Torch growled.

"Follow Torch!" Coco translated. They followed Torch for what seemed like hours as the continuous rock crashing came in behind them.

That’s when Torch made a sudden turn into a hole. Moonshine vanished through the ground wall. Coco and Peppermint tumbled through, next, followed by Bayline then Squall. The rocks blocked the hole.

"Ouch! Coco gasped as she landed with Peppermint on her head. Squall landed face-down and Bayline landed on her stomach, making her clutch it.

"Great exit Torch-oh my…" Squall began, but his mouth simply hung off its hinges.

"What’s wrong-" Coco began, but becoming dumbfounded herself. Bayline’s eyes decreased in size. They were on snow, not dirt! They looked around, it looked like an underground winter wonderland! No trees, or any other plant. Just snow in thick layers of cold blankets. Moonshine reappeared and wandered around the place in amazement.

"Growlithe," Don’t even ask, I have no clue whatsoever, Torch said blankly.

"Ghastly ghas ghastly," The temperature changed so suddenly, making the water droplets in the atmosphere harden into ice crystals and finally into snow, Moonshine explained.

"Maybe this is a side effect of Arcticuno’s poke’nap," Bayline said.

"Most likely," Squall said with a no-kidding-Bayline kind of voice.

"Meaning, that this place couldn’t have been the only place that had sudden temperature changes!" Coco gasped.

"Pi?" Meaning? Peppermint asked.

"That it’s a possibility that the whole Earth can become frozen IF we don’t find Arcticuno fast!" Coco answered.

"Let’s hurry and find Team Rocket!" Squall said as they stood up and headed out of another hole. Moonshine led the way. After fifteen minutes, Moonshine led the trio to an underground waterfall; vines grew around it and up to a-

"Hole! Look! A hole to the outside!" Bayline shouted cheerfully.

"Wow, what a climb," Squall said as he eyed the height of the vines.

"All we have to do is climb up the vines and we’ll be home free!" Coco said. "All we need is for Jenta to give Fruity a lift to the top and help us up one-by-one," Bayline released Jenta, Squall did the same with Fruity.

"Jenta, bring Fruity up the hole right next to the vines. From there, Fruity, use Vine Whip to help us climb out, all right?" Coco explained. The two pokemon nodded. As Jenta flew Fruity up the vines. Coco and Squall returned Torch and Moonshine to their balls. When Fruity was at the top, Jenta was returned.

"Bayline, you first. Then Peppermint, then-" Coco explained.

"Then you, then me," Squall finished.

"All right, bring it down now Fruity!" Coco shouted. Fruity’s vine extended down and around Bayline’s waist. Bayline began climbing. Coco could tell she was trying not to look down.

"Almost there Bay!" Coco encouraged. Bayline’s face was twisted from fear. "Just don’t look down!"

"Okay!" Bayline shouted back down to her as she grabbed the edge of the ground attached to the vines. "I made it!" Bayline climbed out and sat next to Fruity as she let her vine down again.

"Take Peppermint!" Coco said as the vine went around Peppermint; she was lifted into the air.

"Pika pi!" I’m glad I’m not afraid of heights! Peppermint squealed as she landed next to Bayline.

‘There we go, oh great…" Coco growled as the vine went around her waist. The ground trembled again.

"Hurry and lift her up Fruity!" Squall ordered. Coco began climbing fast as she was pulled up by Fruity. As soon as she was on ground level, the vine was already sinking back down the hole and around Squall.

"You better be quick Squall!" Coco shouted. Squall made his way up the vine ladder just as the ground beneath him crumbled and fell into darkness. It slowly worked its way up the walls.

"Everyone pull together!" Coco shouted as she, Peppermint, and Bayline pulled on the vine. Squall was losing his grip on the vines as they hung loosely in the air. The collapsing stopped halfway so did the tremors.

"Pull!" Coco growled. At last, one final tug they got Squall to their level.

"Awesome Fruity, you deserve a good rest," Squall said as he returned Fruity to her ball. Then they sat there panting.

"I wonder if the others got out?" Bayline wondered aloud.

"Haha! We’re out and happy for sure!" they heard familiar voices chuckle.

"Coco! Squall! Bayline! Help! They found a fossil!" They heard Rick shout. They quickly got up and ran towards Rick’s voice. They soon found Sandra, Rick, and Ivan.

"They’re getting away in another digging submarine!" Ivan shouted as they pointed at the similar twin of the machine they saw earlier with a bright R on it and the same railings that suddenly risen with the two Team Rocket members. Meowth and Spearow were next to their masters.

"We call this our all-time new traveling device, we call it the TR SubClaw! Like it? You better because it’ll ruin that pathetic dream of yours!" Claudia shouted at the trio.

"Yeah right! But anyway! Where is Arcticuno?" Coco asked.

"Wouldn’t you like to know! I don’t see why you want to go to Cinnabar anyway!" Syji shouted, but Claudia and Meowth pounded him.

"You moron! Now they know for sure where to go!" Claudia yelled.

"Sorry…"

"Go! Peppermint!" Coco shouted as Peppermint ran toward them. Coco saw the small tablet with a few bones on it tucked under Claudia’s arm.

"You too Torch!" Squall shouted.

"Go! Jenta!" Bayline called out for her butterfly pokemon.

"I choose you too Xavier!" Ivan shouted. The pidgeotto appeared.

"Meowth! Use Screech!" Claudia commanded.

"Spearow! Use Peck attack!" Syji shouted. Ivan ordered Xavier to use Tackle against Spearow; Torch was trying to Bite Meowth. Meanwhile, Jenta hovered and cried at Team Rocket.

"Buss off you pest!" Claudia shouted at Jenta, Bayline told her to use Stun Spore.

"Befreee!" Jenta cried as yellow powder came off her wings and landed on Team Rocket. They were paralyzed.

"Now! Torch Tackle Meowth into the TR SubClaw!" Squall shouted.

"You do the same Xavier!" Ivan yelled at his bird pokemon. Meowth and Spearow were shoved into their masters.

"Now! Peppermint! Thundershock!" Coco commanded.

"Pikachuuuuu!" Peppermint squealed as she shocked Team Rocket.

"Jenta!" Bayline shouted.

"Xavier!" Ivan said.

"GUST THEM AWAY FOR GOOD!" They both shouted at the same time.

"Befreee!"

"Piddgggot!" The two pokemon blew a major windstorm at Team Rocket. It didn’t budge at first, then finally it was picked up by the wind and swung into the sky.

"Team Rocket will be back again!" Team Rocket shouted with their pokemon and machine falling along with them.

"Here’s the tablet," Coco said as she picked up the fossil from the ground and handed it to Ivan.

"No wait, your going to Cinnabar right?" Rick asked. They nodded.

"Then take it with you, they have a research lab their that can resurrect pokemon it given twenty-four hours," Sandra explained as Ivan handed it back to Coco.

"Take it as our personal thanks, but if you haven’t noticed, he he," Sandra giggled.

"We’re right next to Viridian!" Rick finished.

"WHAT!?!" The trio gasped.

"The tunnel led us to here, I told you I could give you a ride," Ivan said with a smile.

"Don’t you mean ‘walk’?" Bayline laughed.

"Yeah, we’ll get a flight back to Cerulean, you can keep on going to Pallet." Rick said.

"We wish you luck on whatever you’re going to do," Sandra said.

"Thanks," Squall said.

"Well, bye," Coco said, as they walked down as Rick pointed to, the family walked on to their left to the city.

"Well, we’re almost there," Coco said. Peppermint jumped onto her hat. The sun began to set.

"I am almost done. But I wish to give the first challenge to Coco when she has proven herself in Kanto, by joining the Indigo Plateau, and I'll wait," Ash said. Pikachu sighed as he feasted with all the rest of Ash’s pokemon.

"If that is what you wish Ash," Ho-oh said in return.

"But, I’ll make more challenges through the years as she competes in more leagues, then, when the time comes. I’ll battle her myself," Ash explained. Ho-oh was surprised by his patience.

"That’s fine, and I will keep in contact with Golden Sun, but right now, Moyia is in trouble…"
