OMG. I
am so mad, I finished my 5th chapter, and than I realized I deleted
this one in the process. So, I’m currently finished with 5. I guess I will send
them in together. But I hope you enjoy, because I redid it like 3 times…

Chapter 4: Preparations for the Festival
---------------------
Ash looked everywhere for Misty. It
was 12:00. Andrew was flirting with Carly who was
wearing the shortest skirt he’d ever seen. Misty was no where. Not at the
Bamboo Leaf, not at the spa, nowhere. He thought he would just go home when
someone tapped on his shoulder. It was Candice. Ash tried to look away. ‘No. She
won’t ruin this for me.’
“Ash…” She said, in a whisper. “Don’t
you want me? Who are you out to see?” Candice said in a provocatively sweet
voice.
“Candice, I’m not interested in
us anymore. I’m sorry.” He said.
She just glared at him. “What?”
“I don’t love you. You mean
absolutely nothing to me. I would appreciate it if you left me alone. I need to
find her.” He said sternly.
“YOU! Ugh, Ash… You want HER
over me??? I cannot believe it. But Ash…” She said, angry tears falling from
her eyes.
“NO! Don’t bother me or my
friends again!” Ash yelled at her.
Candice walked away, cursing
furiously at Ash, Misty and all of their friends. She couldn’t believe she didn’t
get her Ash. ‘Lost to Misty…’ She cried to herself.
Ash walked out to the Boardwalk.
Suddenly, it hit him. ‘Where would Misty find comfort?’ He said, looking out to
the rolling waves, and moonlit sand. He headed over to the beach, a smile of
hope creeping over his face.
---------------------
It was 12:00, and he still wasn’t
back. Misty had been up all night, waiting for Ash to come back. “Where is he?”
She finally decided to go looking for him. As she put her flip flops on, she
looked at the note left by Ash that was still laying
on the counter. A tear fell onto it as she realized he would never love her. But
it didn’t matter, she wanted to see him, to know him,
to be with him.
She walked everywhere in town,
and he was no where. She needed comfort. Suddenly, she looked out at the ocean’s
calmness. She realized where she had to go.
There he was, sitting on a
bench. “ASH!” She called out to him.
“Misty?” He turned around to see
her running towards him. He stood up, and caught her. He spun her around a few
times.
“Where have you been?” She
asked, in a slightly anxious yet relieved voice.
“I was just about to ask you the
same thing.”
“What? I’ve been at the
Hibiscus. And you were out with Candice.” She said, gaining a bit of stiffness
in her voice.
“Listen, about that, there’s
something you have got to know.”
“Oh, believe me,
I know everything that happened after your little date. Including your little rendezvous
with her to her door.”
“Misty, you have got to listen
to me-“
“Why? So I can be heartbroken as
you lie to me again? I don’t think so!”
“Wait, what?”
“Don’t you see? You’re the only
one I want to be with. I wanted to share our first kisses with each other, but
YOU ruined it.” She cried, tears streaming from her moist eyes.
“Oh… Misty.” He started.
“Forget it, I wish I never laid
my eyes on you, Ash Ketchum!” She said as she ran away, wiping her stinging
eyes to relief the pain in her heart.
He looked at her figure quickly
leaving his sight. ‘Where did I go wrong?’ He thought. Then he realized; one
word: Candice.

HAHA I
know that was short. But hey, I redid it 3 times.
